Richmond Hotel パリ    

not too much to say about it really, its location is :( sadly next to the station, or opposite it, you have to watch your wallet, bag/kids at all times. It smells terrible around the station and we avoided walking around it. Luckily the Metro enterance is just 10m away from the frontdoor of the hotel. To be honest I expected a little more for the price we paid but in general the staff was nice. The room was very clean on arrival, but didn't get hoovered for the next 3 days. The beds were comfortable but the bedding was awful. OLD OLD Rugs and sheets and sausage pillows :( -but to be fair beds were made up daily! We only used the shower once as it just looked absolutly rotten and old. so did the rest of the bathroom and bedroom. It could really do with a total renovation, we also had to go to reception for toilet-paper as the 'phone' just never got anwsered. The safe in the room did not work. The TV only had french channels (which was not a problem, but just good to know).I feel cheated for the price I paid.AND I would not reccommend it to anybody.

The hotel is old, shabby but clean. The whole place badly needs a make over. But the service was very good, very friendly. I would not recommend a breakfast which is in the New Hotel around the corner in a cellar. There are many other restaurants in the neighbourhood where you have a much better ambience for the same breakfast price.The location is very good. Just in front of gare du Nord. The Sacre Coeur is only 15 minutes walking. The sleep quality depends where your room is situated. The noise at the street did not bother me. After all you're in Paris.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night , the reason for selecting was the location which is next to Gare du nord station, othrewise it is expensive for the service provided would never reccomend to anyone.

The hotel was in an excellent place for eurostar, metro and macdonalds! We had to move 3 times in the first 24 hrs as there was no operating safe. Air con was either too hot or freezing and if you were a light sleeper a 24 hour street isn't for you. We had hairs in the bed, even though the sheets were clean. We had to ask for pillows. EverY room had a light not working. The bathrooms were very shabby, tiles and not to uk cleanleness standards. Tere was no tea/coffee making in the room, basic in rthe uk, staff were helpful but we wouldn't return,

Hotel was nicely located but service was satisfatory,. Romm was clean but outer area was dirty.Carpet need to change.

Extremely disappointing, very poor quality of service, rooms, cleanliness and staff are non-professional.A waste of money and time.Strong advise not to repeat my horrible experience.

This hotel is situated in an excellent location and the staff are generally friendly and helpful. Great for those travelling by Eurostar as it is across the road from the station.

The hotel does not have good customer service at all. There was no air condition in the room, TV was not working properly , the most funny thing was that there was no pillow to sleep. They demand more money compare to their service. They should improve their whole service.

I booked this 4 day trip for my husbands 65 birthday. Walked into reception was shocked at the dirt. Given room, no bigger than a postage stamp. Went down to reception to ask if this was the superior room I booked was immediately given another room only difference larger bathroom. Pillows non existent more like a door draft stopper. Thought 100€ pn would get a halfway decent room, how wrong was I! After 2nd night wanted to leave even though had paid for 3 nights but couldn't change travel arrangements. If you can afford to pay more do.

While the location of this hotel seems great being across from the train station and surrounded by cafes and resturants it is probably the scariest and filthiest part of Paris. It is very unsafe, very loud and very dangerous. Never stay here with children. There are drug deals happening all over the street. Even the French police tell you to hang on to your children as it is a very dangerous area. Don't do it.

The hotel was very well situated in respect to the Gare de Nord train station. Across the road . That was fantastic but it is a way out of central Paris so unless you are comfortable using the public transport which was really easy to use stay closer to central Paris. Lots of good, cheap eating places close by.

Lot of noise out what we can not sleep!The rooms are clean. The decor is a little kitschy.The metro is just down the hotel! This is very useful!

On the plus side, there is the location, making the hotel very well connected. There is also the fact that they have affordable family room for 4. The hotel also provided parking, which is a plus in a place like Paris.On the down side, there is the noise. Our window did not close properly and we had no trouble hearing the mobs of youth gathered around the front of the station at 2.00 AM and bugging taxi drivers.We had no trouble hearing any of our neighbours either when they came in late almost leading us to believe the youth had broken in.The sheet were clean but worn and bearing black marks and we had 3 towels for 4.All in all, take some serious ear plugs and extra blankets if it is cold. Next time, we will probably go for a less connecged but quieter place...

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the people behind the counter are very hospitable. The room wasn't all clean but it that wasn't too bad.

Our stay at the Hotel Richmond was extremely disappointing. The room was not clean and stank of smoke (even though we requested a non-smoking room). The hotel was very noisy because of the trains and other patrons, so we got little sleep. It was also very overpriced for the quality of the room and the location. The front office staff were more interested in selling us their products than giving us truthful information.We are well travelled and have stayed in many budget hotels in Europe - we would strongly recommend against this hotel.

We stayed at "New Hotel Richmond" located in front of Paris Noor statation which the reason why we choose this hotel. When I booked the hotel it is name Hotel Richmond but when I arrived and search I found "New Hotel Richmond". Outside the hotel it was stinky and dirty, inside it was full of dust especially on the stairecase. Our room was small reasonable enough for what we payed. The wall, floor and bath room are dirty and it was also smelly. I will never recommend this hotel.

Fine for tourists who only require a place to sleep and secure their stuff. Being more familiar with North American Hotels I have notnig else to add

The location is good because is across the train station but a big cockroach in the room let the cleanness of the hotel to be questioned. The noise of the reconstructions next to the hotel seems that they were working in my room. Bathroom was clean but the roach in the room did not let me a good impression so i did not use the towels. I did not rest and sleep well thinking that another cockroach would crawl on me.

Ideal location for Eurostar connection at the Gare du Nord - literally across the road. Front of house staff wre polite, however, hotel description did not live up to the reality. My room suffered from crumbling ceilings, dirty bathroom, uncomfortable bed. Also overcharged from stated rate which is currently going through an investigation (although they stated this could take up to 4 weeks!). Plenty of other hotels available near the station if required. This hotel is overpriced for what you receive.
