Cons: Very noisy outside room all through the night people talking and various banging from within the hotel.bed extremely uncomfortable.

Pros: Excellent location, good room, polite staff. i would definitely come back here
Cons: I really missed a real shower (as opposed a spray handle with no shower curtain). this is probably my only objetion. on the other hand, most other hotels i stayed at in greece had the same set-up (impractical, and you end up wasting water instead of saving it). the breakfast could be improved with a couple of simple changes (real bread and real coffee would be nice)

Pros: This is the third or fourth time i've stayed at the adams. it is an eccentric choice: a great location with a reasonable room rate (especially through easy-to-book!) but definitely not renovated into superficial luxury. a good place to sleep and not much else, but who wants to hang out in a hotel in athens, anyway? our room on the 3rd floor had a huge deck with a view of (the back of) the acropolis. easy walk to syntagma and monastiraki. the staff is knowledgable and human and not obsequious. treat them with respect and without unreasonable demands and you will get what you deserve; treat them badly and you will get the same.
Cons: Not so negative, but don't expect an american or english breakfast...it's bread, cheese, butter and jam, juice, coffee or tea...a simple continental break fast.

Pros: Location was excellent, plaka just outside. quiet.
Cons: Quite old facilities, needs to be refurbished. breakfast was for a "scandinavian" to lean. paid with creditcard, and the 2% cost was just added to the price without informing me. i was asked to key in the pin code and saw it when i got the receipt. i don't like this kind of attitide and i informed the owner about it. peanuts but still...
