If all you are looking for is a place to sleep for 1 night then it's fine but if you are looking to experience an Irish welcome in a firendly b&b then it's not for you. The staff were ok, not very friendly or welcoming. but they were polite I stayed in a triple room with 2 friends, the room was fine, clean but dated (the duvet covers and pictures were faded, the place just needed a bit of tlc). The most disappointing part was the breakfast, the coffee was undrinkable and the quality of the food was not good. The location is good , not far from Newcastle village and just off the main road to Cliften. I would be slow to stay here again as I know there is better out there for less money (the room cost €135)
