We have never stayed in Ireland before, but will deffo be going back, This Hotel was close to the buses and trams, that take you all over Dublin, the staff could seriously not do enough to help you. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone that worked there was very well mannered and polite. If you feel like a walk Temple bar district with all its lovely Irich pubs is about 15 mins away, The Temple bar itself, and the Old Storehouse are deffinately worth a visit. The Irish people are the same as the hotel staff, very polite and friendly

Maldron has a super health spa and gym, which makes it ideal for relaxing after a day's sightseeing. It's a great base for a short break. Comfortable, roomy accommodation and cheerful bar area and dining.

This hotel was excellent, around 15/20 mins walk to Temple Bar. The staff are really helpfull and the hotel was very clean. Our hotel room was spacious and modern. I would return to this hotel.

For the price level, the hotel offers very good value and services. I personally find the presence of a full-fledged gym plus pool at no charge very interesting. On a more general level, the hotel offers spacious quiet rooms not too far from the city centre. The breakfast situation could be made a little more cozy: we found the restautant quite chilly in the morning. And again, on a personal note, the variety of cereals offered could include more 'health' products such as linseed and other seeds. On the whole very satisfactory at a good price.

Good hotel, close to O2 - good 15min walkFrom o'connell street.Nice, clean bathroom little smell of damp but that just bath curtain. Bar staff lovely. Reception area a little warm

Pros: We enjoyed our stay, clean, comfortable, friendly staff,
Cons: Disappointed that we were not told the leisure center was closed early on the sun and mon when we did avail of same steam room and jacuzzi were not working. food was a bit pricy also

Pros: The hotel was in a great location near the o2 and dublin city centre. it was great to have a pool for the children to use. room size was aqequate for 4 of us and the hotel staff were very helpful. we also enjoyed our meal in the bar.
Cons: The toddler size pool was very small for children and the showers in the changing rooms had quite cool water.

Pros: Staff were very helpful, the rooms were well appointed and clean and the location of the hotel was ideal for our visit, as we did not want to be in the centre of dublin. the hotel is close to the o2 and to the grand central theatre.
Cons: If you want to be in the heart of dublin this is not the hotel for you as it is approximately a 15 minute walk from the centre

Pros: The hotel was very welcoming the staff very polite and helpfull will be back in november ,room perfect had everything you need thankyou
Cons: Wasn,t to impressed with the cooked breakfast we payed seperate for eggs tasted fishey and needed tomatoes and mushrooms for the price you pay so won,t have breakfast there not value for money

Pros: The maldron hotel in cardiff lane is an excellent hotel with very helpful staff ,it is ideally situated beside the new grand canal theatre and great restaurants. i would highly recommend this hotel as both myself & my wife had a wonderful stay in very clean ,plesant surroundings .the breakfast which we received in the morning was excellent the perfect end to our stay.....

Pros: The room was really nice, the staff were very friendly and the pool was nice.
Cons: I think i was overcharged and they didn't have our room ready for us on the day so we were waiting around. the hotel is quite far from the centre of town and it will cost you 10 euros to get into the centre by taxi. not sure the room was worth the money i paid.
