Holiday Il Girasole Bergamo  

we were on a trip to lake como and stayed overnite in bergamo and would recommend this hotel for convenience to transport, was very comfortable and a good breakfastAlfonso picked us up at airport and ran us to train station next day which was very helpful, we got train to varenna changing at lecco and then ferry to menaggio which was very smoothe, no problems and ask for a senior when buying train ticket and u will get a reduction, also train is very cheap and whole journey was just over 1 hr. also u must get titrain ticket stamped at machine in station before boarding train or u will be fined, we didnt know that and were fined!!

Holiday Il Girasole is a small family owned hotel in central Bergamo. The owners are very nice and helpful. Transport between hotel and Bergamo airport is done by the hotel owner. A simple breakfast is included. Good value for money.

Very good customer service. The owner of the hotel was very helpful and nice. Clean hotel with free computer in the room, nice updated showers, adequate breakfast included in the price., and very close to the rain station The owner of the hotel transport us back and fort from Bergamo airport for a small fee cheaper than than taxi cabs. I recommedn this place with no hesitation.

I recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to visit Bergamo, which by the way is a wonderful town.The room was great, the shared bathroom very clean, we also had at our disposal the kitchen with all the appliances. We also had free wi-fi and for 2.50 eur. shuttle service from the airport.I came from Romania and was not used with a breakfast composed mainly by sweet things, but all in all I rate it 5 stars and I would stay here again if I had the opportunity.

Pros: Very nice room, one of the best during our journey in italy, really nice&large bathroom. there was pc in my room connected to internet, tv, conditioner. hotel staff was so kind & friendly, helped me so much with my problem, thank you!
