Hotel Star Milan  

If i come back too Milano i vill stay at this hotell again. Great staff verry frendly and helpful. The rooms where nice , a littel small maybe but clean and cosy. Brekfast where verry good , à lots of everything. Location was centre. A good hotell in Milano .

Simple enough hotel but quite expensive really... a very basic room. We paid €30 less for a night in an equally basic hotel two weeks earlier (Hotel Marconi, Via Fabio Filzi 3, Stazione Centrale, Milan, 20124), slightly less shiny and a mile further from the Duomo, but just the same - breakfast was better, actually.Also, at night, the room was really hot, and if you opened the window you had a lot of tram noise. We've got a baby on the way and I wouldn't stay in this hotel if the room was going to be this hot. I should've said something to the staff really but it was the middle of the night... blah blah blah....

Pros: Staff was very knowledgeable and willing to help with restaurant suggestions/reservations and tourist information.

Pros: Staff, cleanliness & location of hotel were excellent, rooms a little bit dated but really don't let this put you off as everything else well makes up for it. breakfast good.
Cons: Shower cubicle was a little small, but beautifully clean & if you were a large person it would be a little bit difficult i think, however it also had a steam sauna enclosed in it which i used & enjoyed. other than that absolutely nothing else.
