Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful, very central location , right beside a metro stop.the food was good but expensive but they did offer a gluten free menu which was excellent.
Cons: The rooms were quite small and need of a little attention and the bathroom and shower were very small.

Pros: Excellent staff.good decorative order throughout and in keeping with the hotel era and history. very clean in all areas. ideal location, within walking distance of a few of the main attractions.
Cons: Very expensive beer in the restaurant (11 euros for a pint!)although beer is not cheap in any of the places in rome. no tea or coffee making facilities in room. despite being told before that everything was included in the price we were still required to pay an additional 2 euros per night per person 'city tax' at the end of our stay, in cash although this is clearly advertised in the room, so i can't say i didn't know until we were due to leave.

Pros: To sum it all, this is a true 3-star hotel in a 5-star location. nothing in general to complain about, except maybe about very limited choices of food for breakfast. room (junior suite for 3) was clean and spacious, ac and everything else was working properly. small and quite hotel in a center of the rome.
Cons: Matresses were extremely stiff, felt like you are laying on a cardboard, but maybe someone like such things :-)

Pros: We were pleasantly surprised by the size, comfort and price of the room. we are a family of four (2 teenagers) and had a hard time in other cities finding rooms large enough to accommodate all of us. the alexandra is a very nice hotel located within walking distance of many sights and restaurants. we've already recommended it to others.

Pros: Very helpful staff on reception and knowledgable on tourist information. no hassle or additional cost for bag storage. good security for passports. breakfasts were excellent.
Cons: Misleading advice on best way to travel from airport to hotel. 90 euros turned out to be very expensive for a minicab in comparison to alternatives.

Cons: Could be a little more imaginitive with breakfast but what was there was always good and plenty of it. the room was very good (large jacazzi in bathroom)but not as good as the impression the pictures on the website give.
