We staid with my wife in Fenix hotel during Easter Holiday! We were appreciate to hotel design with warm colors (violet and yellow), really friendly stuff and service! Not best location, but not far from Metro if you asked and recognized short way.

Pros: The fenix hotel provided us with good value. the staff were pleasant and always helpful. the room was clean and provided everything it said on the tin. the maid service was excellent and changed linen/towels daily. the reception staff were pleasant and keen to satisfy your needs. the area around the hotel was pleasant with some good restaurants. good bus routes into rome centre

Pros: The hotel is really, really nice, quiet and clean; the room i was staying in was spacious enough, with nice furniture, tv, very cosy and it had everything i needed for a 5 days stay, the bed was comfortable, and there was also a balcony in the room. i loved the garden outside the hotel, it is was really pleasant to spend some time there as well. i was impressed with the kind and always helpful staff; they would always give me all the information i need, they were all nice and also made my stay there enjoyable. the hotel is withing 10 minutes walking distance from the closest metro station and it is really easy to get around that area and rome itself. if i ever go back to rome, i would definitely chose fenix hotel again.
Cons: The only thing i would recommend to people who chose to stay at this hotel is to bring their own mini iron, in case it is important to them, since there is no iron available in the room, but there is laundry service.

Pros: The staff were all very friendly and helpful. the rooms are very clean and the hotel is situated right next to a bus stop which makes it ever so easy to go to termini station and travel to wherever you want in rome and throughout all italy. buses are very frequent. the breakfast had a very good selection too.

Pros: Staff on arrival at the hotel were very helpful with organising the return of our hire car.
Cons: One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the provision of an internet service, which did not work (which it had done for every other hotel that we've stayed at before and since). the staff on the reception desk on the second day of our stay were considerably less helpful in assisting us with concerns. we found their attitude offhand.

Pros: I am afraid the negative experience spoilt our stay at this hotel
Cons: Front desk staff was very dismisive and could speak little or no english, not normal for a four star hotel, 24hr room service stopped at 21.30hrs, got the impression the staff did not like british people

During your stay in Fenix hotel you will get complimentary breakfast. In addition to the attractive bedrooms, there is also a selection of common areas including a garden, a bar/lounge and a reading lounge on the premises. Shops in the hotel include a bookstore.
