"Save yourself the money and sleep on the street - same value anyway"

1.It was so loud i wouldnt have been able to sleep even if I was deaf. 2.Frodo Baggins and his hobbit mates would have thought this room was tiny.3.Staircase in front of an elevator?Absolute genius :/

"Anniversary trip to Rome"

This was our anniversary trip to Rome and our first time to the Hotel Morgana. The hotel was very friendly and the staff very helpful. The room was very tastefully decorated as was the bathroom. The hotel was perfectly situated within easy reach of the buses and trains. There were numerous good restaurants within a very short walk (2 minutes). In all despite the rain we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would have no problem in recommending it to anyone.

"Enjoyable Weekend"

We really enjoyed staying at the Morgana Hotel. I read a ton of reviews prior to booking the hotel. It is in a very convenient area of town, the train station is but a block away, the Taxi area is right there with the Trains, and Metro. Breakfast was available every morning and there was lots to pick from. When checking in I did so a late time of night and everyone was very good about getting everything completed. Luckily I had read a review stating about the Morgana having more rooms in another building down the street or I would have been a little worried when they escorted me to my room, and took me out the front door and down the street, the building is nice a secure so no need to feel worried. The room we stayed in was of nice size not a small room by any means. We even had a balcony which was great especially my husband enjoyed that. We even found an amazing little cafe' close by that we had cappuccinos at each night and even Gelatto. We were able to walk to 99% of the main attractions, if you don't mind walking my suggestion is to do as we did take a cab to the vatican city and walk back. Its a great walk and really not that bad, if you look at a map it looks like a very long walk. If you like Lasagna we also found a lasagna place near the Trevi Fountain that was awesome.(we googled best lasagna in rome) This was both of our first times in Rome and we truly enjoyed ourselves, and would defiantly stay at the Morgana again if we had the opportunity to go back.

"Family break."

Lovely hotel, good location, within walking distance of all main sights in Rome.Staff were friendly and helpful, they even upgraded our room.Buffet breakfast had large choice.Only negative was our room was a little noisy.Would recommend and stay again

"2 night stay in Rome"

Great location, within easy walk of Termini station. Lots of places to eat nearby with all different prices.Great choice of food at breakfast.Only criticisim was air con in room was not very good. Would certainly consider staying there again.

"Roman Vacation"

The Hotel Morgana is centrally located to many Roman monuments. The train station and subways very convenient & located a block away. The rooms are clean and the staff was helpful in providing tourist information. The breakfast room was comfortable and we enjoyed a variety of breakfast foods, including juices,toast, scramble eggs& bacon. I would gladly recommend this hotel for all.

"Great location"

Great location near the Roma Termini-5 minutes walk from the side exit after catching the train from FCO. It was a little awkward being in the annexe down the road-but didn't really matter in the long run. The surrounding area is a bit 'seedy' but the hotel was helpful with a great restaurant for dinner that was close by. Breakfast was great.

"Clean hotel, friendly staff, but they double booked us"

We arrived at Hotel Morgana at midnight only to be told that the website we booked through (easytobook.com) had not informed the hotel of our reservation until quite late on, so we were double booked and they had no room for us. They told us we would be sent to their sister hotel (A View At The Spanish Steps - 5 star hotel) in a taxi for 1 night, that we would 'love it there and not want to come back but we have to'! In the morning we left our suitcases with the sister hotel to be transported back to Hotel Morgana. We arrived at Hotel Morgana about 5pm after touring Rome, checked in and entered our room where our suitcases were waiting. Our room was disappointing to say the least. Ok we may have been spoiled from the previous night's stay, but when the room was booked we chose '1 Deluxe Double Room + Free Upgrade' - this was not what we received. The pictures of the room on the website were much much much nicer than the room we were given. Not only this, our view looked out into a small court yard which was used to store beer bottles, broken mirrors and junk! There are a lot of floors so if you wanted to see the sky you had to stand close to the window and look straight up where you saw a tiny blue square of sky. Having said all this the room was extremely clean!! The staff were friendly particularly 1 woman whose name I don't know but whose English was brilliant. The room mix up was inconvenient to say the least, but we didn't want it to spoil our holiday. The cleanliness of the room was more important.

"Hotel Morgana"

Hotel was good, location is very convenient, staff friendly and very nice breakfast for a reasonable price. Rooms are little smaller rather than on the photos online, but they are very clean and nice.

"Pleasant stay not a 5 star but convenient for a short stay."

Close to station and some tour spots , taxied are very cheap and are everywhere very easy get one and all drivers are very happy to help with advice. This area has some great restaurants and are all great value.

"Suggestions"

When we first arrived we were warmly greeted and luggage stored. When asking for a map and directions, response was very terse and certainly not helpful. After walking around the city for 6 hours trying to find our way we returned back to the hotel. Another employee (a young lady) was at the desk and provided us with a city map and clear directions to several sites without us asking. Having that info when we asked sure would have been helpful.We were traveling with family and friends who arrived a day earlier and received a comp WiFi and breakfasts. When asked if we would be given the same, the response was no with no explanation.Still the hotel was great and most of the staff friendly and helpful.

"Great location and great breakfast"

The hotel is not the best one in the world for a 4 stars hotel but the price was good, the location was great (2 minutes from Termini station) and great breakfast. "Valentina" the waitress from breakfast room was the best i have ever had in a hotel. Nice place to stay for 4 days. Nice and clean room, with everything we needed. The bad part was the internet because everyday you have to ask on the reception for a new code (Only for 24 hours).

"city break"

good hotel room good but not sure if we got the upgradeed room promises by easytobook.com staff were very helpful and friendly.Acoffer and tea tray in the rooms would make the stay better as this was missed both late night and early morning

Fantastic

Being relatively large does not mean there is no personal service at Hotel Morgana. The higher star rating ensures a comfortable stay combined with excellent facilities. Staying here, you are conveniently located close to Termini Railway Station. Recommended additions to your trip are Diocleziano Thermal, Teatro dell’Opera and Venezia Square. A landmark such as Piazza della Repubblica is conveniently close, as are Esquilino Palace and Tiburtino. One points of interest that you can go to from this accommodation is Teatro dell'Opera.

Hotel Morgana complements its selection of bedrooms with common areas including a bar/lounge and a reading lounge. Not only are a shuttle service and photocopying available here; other services (such as an express check-in/out service) are also provided. If work draws you to Rome, you will be pleased to know there is a conference space here. If you own a pet and bringing it was a problem before, note that here, your little friend is more than welcome. 121 rooms can be chosen from. Guests of this hotel may want to make use of a paid airport shuttle bus, or perhaps a paid area shuttle bus, which are both provided.

The air conditioning in Hotel Morgana makes for a more comfortable environment. Please note that smoking is not allowed here. A wake-up service and a maid service are but two of the services offered. Communication from the rooms is made easier by the presence of wireless high-speed Internet access (complimentary). Sleeping at this accommodation is made more comfortable with a hypo-allergenic bedding set (upon request). From the rooms you can enjoy an exterior view.
