Pros: Absolutely wonderful hotel ..dont be put off by entry to hotel itself.. room spotless breakfast better than 4 star hotels i have stayed in italy.. location cannot be better.. close to train terminal and hop on off buses would recommend 3 day pass for 25 euros with 110 and archeobus combined

Pros: I liked the privacy and cleanliness of the hotel. the room was pleasant with no frills. the location and cleanliness are the things that make this hotel ok.
Cons: Some staff was friendly and helpful. some not. there's no lobby or many services offered by this hotel. it was going through renovation and we were not informed. the elevator is way too small. i would probably not stay at this hotel again if i re-visit rome.

Pros: Good location for rome attractions and train station with links to the airport. staff very helpfull
Cons: Poor service for breakfast, it seems the staff can not cope when full. hotel could do with a good face lift, it is very tatty and dated but clean

Pros: We were 4 in a room. it was very roomy and quiet, a lovely stay. the breakfast was very good as well. i did encounter a problem with the handling of my suitcase but the hotel staff took care of it right away and without question. it was very much appreciated! the selene is a very nice hotel.
Cons: I found it a bit out of the way and distant to some attractions, but in rome everyone walks anyway.

Pros: Hotel selene is centrally located and only a 5 minute walk from termini station. most of the popular attractions are within walking distance. the room was great value for a room in the centre of rome, with a continental breakfast included too. rooms were air conditioned and included fridges. they were cleaned and towels refreshed daily. the staff were very helpful. this hotel is great if you want to use it as a base for travelling around the city. if you intend on spending a number of hours in the hotel, then i would recommend you spend a little more and book in elsewhere.
Cons: The hotel reception is not obvious as it's called the "hotel selene shop". also, the double room we were in was a little small, but it had a huge bathroom.
