Hotel Veneto ローマ

Pros: Very spacious and we loved the ceiling window with the remote control to open, close or adjust the shade on our 6th floor room. the location to the barberini metro station was about 8 minutes walk away and connects you to the main terminal which have trains to and from the airport, taking about 40 min to reach your destination. not bad if you do not bring along too much luggage.
Cons: There were no towel hooks/rings in the bathroom and the small room safe was located on the floor inside the closet.

Pros: Staff friendly and helpful
Cons: Room was in need of some refurbishment

Pros: Nicely decorated clean room. good breakfast. good location.
Cons: The hotel bar was expensive.

Pros: The hotel was conveniently located, about a kilometer+ walk from spanish steps. safe location. we were offered a room not in the main hotel but in a building just behind, which is also part of the hotel apparently, and is a newly refurbished room. the approach to this building, especially the elevator, seemed very old/dated so we were a quite skeptical at first to accept but agreed to see the room...but then were pleasantly surprised! the size of the room, the view and the amenities...all modern and comfortable. our room number was 334. indeed a comfortable stay and would definitely return and recommend. in fact, preferred it the actual standard room of the hotel! :)
Cons: The door of the cooridor as you come up has no stopper and you hear it banging all through the early hours of the morning and late at night as people come and go! the elevator is the oldest i have seen in my life! i am not young!! it's an antique! it got stuck once when i was in it, luckily there were some workers outside so they told me to go back up and take the stair down, luckily that trick worked. since then we never used it. but apparently, this was the first time this had happened so maybe just my bad luck! the breakfast too is pretty basic, but that is fine. the views from the breakfast room though are quite amazing! :)

Pros: It was very easy from the start with no issues
Cons: Part of the cost of the hotel was charged onto our credit card which we were not informed about, we were told that the card was only going to be used for confirmation of the booking. i find this not acceptable.

Pros: Very nice hotel, handily placed. cocktails very potent and reasonably priced.
Cons: The booking confirmation stated that city tax was included but it wasn't - not a big problem but think you need to change your confirmation details as it will never be included as it not a hotel charge.

Pros: Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely and plentiful
Cons: Directions to hotel not very clear.

Pros: The room was very beautifully painted, a real sense of italy! very clean and the maid came daily.
Cons: We did not expect to be placed in an area of the hotel which seemed more like an appartment block that was stil under reconstruction, unable to work the jacuzzi bath.

Pros: Had a very pleasant stay over new year. helpful staff

Pros: Through an error in transferring the credit card number, the reservation was cancelled without notifying us. however, upon arrival, the staff arranged for us to stay at another hotel for one night, arranging and paying for taxi transportation, provided us complimentary breakfast, wine in our room, and espresso in the bar. they were outstanding.
Cons: We were quite taken back at the cost of wireless internet service (20 euro per day).

Pros: Very good reception on arrival and exceptional help during stay. very good breakfast with plenty of variation. very helpful staff.

Pros: Great location. you can visit most of the attractions on foot from the hotel. breakfast was good. they had nutella, honey and president butter so great for someone who is married to a french (or who is french). the staff was very friendly.
overall enjoyed my stay in the hotel veneto.
Cons: The room was absolutely tiny. however, the location and the service more than compensates it. remember you don't really want to spend your time in your hotel room in rome. the bed was comfortable.

Pros: The staff was great, from the concierge to the front receptionist, his name was michelo and he was very kind explaining us our location and giving us a map and highlights of rome. breakfast was amazing, and the hotel was beautiful!

Pros: Helpful staff member that located my lost luggage at the airport
Cons: Very small room but well appointed
