The location and high end quality of this hotel is warm and friendly, professional and ideal for a stay in the heart of magnificent Rome. From the large entrance and lobby area to the hidden garden where breakfast and evening drinks can be enjoyed surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. The rooms are spacious and very well equiped and decorated in classical style. We had a garden view and to have the opportunity to watch the newly arrived Swallows swooping and diving in the morning was a real treat. A short walk from all the important attractions and as impoprtant a great selection of great places to eat, try the small local places full of Italians they know where to eat, after all it is their city. Overall a fantastic hotel with professional and friendly staff and although in the higher end price range you really do get what you pay for. Both myself and my wife are ex BA crew and we have stayed in some great hotels and Cities around the world and this trip for five days in Rome at the Quirinale will be in our top ten trips so far. If you get a chance try it.

Pros: The hotel is lovely,decor is reminiscent of the grandeur of the former palazzo it was but not overdone.it is light and spacious and the garden is delightful.the rooms are spacious, airy and cool and nicely decorated.the staff are efficient and friendly but not obtrusive.the food at breakfast and in the restaurant is good and there is the opportunity to eat on the garden terrace which is lovely.there is a 20% discount for residents in the hotel restaurant.we liked this hotel so much we returned for a second year and will be returning in the future!.
Cons: Not really.couldn't get shower/bath mixer to work properly but only a minor niggle.

Pros: Lovely hotel, good decor, beautiful garden. breakfast was excellent, very clean rooms,staff pleasant enough. overall really enjoyed it. pleased with choice.
Cons: No, apart from the hard pillows! had a room on the second floor,which was a good size on the main road but the noise wasn't that bad at all.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, a quiet room with space to put bags, belongings and chairs to relax. good public spaces to share without being cramped together. efficient, polite, patient and helpful staff. after weeks of touring a much appreciated experience all we hoped for.

Pros: When we complained about the disabled bathroom we were allocated an upgrade.
Cons: When we checked in on the eveing we were allocated a room with a disabled bathroom which had a wet floor which flooded in addition the shower was at a low level. we had booked a superior room and did not expect a disabled bathroom.

Pros: A lovely traditional hotel, ideally suited in the heart of rome. excellent room standard and very good service. ideal h/q for sightseeing the city with several excellent restaurants close by.
Cons: Prices in the bar are rather over the top, but rome is expensive anyway.

Cons: Staff were not very helpful, and generally miserable. when we first checked in we had booked a superior double room. we were taken to a very small, dark and dingy room with little in the way of basic facilities. i had to complain and it was only after making quite some fuss and pointing out that the room was not the one represented on the web site that we were eventually moved to a better quality room. this was fine apart from the shower over the bath being very nearly useless. breakfast at the hotel was not very good and again staff would rush you to finish as quickly as possible. there are also major road works at the front of the hotel and the heavy machinery started at 6.30am!!

lovely decor and our superior room turned out to be a junior suite and was larger than expected
Cons: Level of servicing of the room was below expectations. e.g. glasses used the previous evening were not cleared away, bathroom supplies such as partly used shampoo were not removed or even tidied up.

Pros: It is an old hotel based in the centre of the walled city of rome. it is spacious and elegant with an excellent restaurant (that is attempting to get its michelin star. staff are friendly and very helpful.
