"A good hotel"

A good hotel for a family. We come here from 6 years all winters. This hotel is quiet and near the centrum Every body is so polite. The suite are beautiful . You have a lot of services . Sorry for my english

"daylight robbery."

We booked 2 bedrooms for 3nights non-refundable by mistake. We stayed 1 night only. We offered the hotel manager to check out the next morning so the rooms would be available for the following two nights in a conference fully booked Amsterdam period.The manager refused to offer us a free breakfast or internet when she was going to make a €150x2rooms x 2night profit. She refused to give us a free internet access.When explained 3 times her commercial failure of collecting our non-refundable room and collecting an extra €600 she completely blanked us. She charged us €13 extra for internet and €22 each for breakfast.She was rude and unhelpful when I explress my wish to write a complaint: "e-mail it to me and I'll pass it on" she said.DAYLIGHT ROBBERY

"Overbooking at The Wyndham Apollo, Apollolaan 2 , Amsterdam"

I booked a room for one night 2 weeks in advance ; I was attending a conference as a speaker. Upon arrival I was told there was no reservation for me even though I had the confirmation document. I asked to speak to the duty manager, he was at home ! I was put in a taxi and taken to another hotel 3 kms away , which wasn't the least bit convenient , the taxi driver informed me this happens all the time. Upon arriving home I phoned Easytobook.com who looked into the matter , I was told that I had no grounds for complaint as I was given a room in another hotel. I will never book with this hotel again.

"Ok..."

Room with view of gas station, shower defect, parking a whopping 30 € a day and wireless internet rather expensive . On the positive side: staff extremely friendly and attentive, excellent English. Structure of hotel somewhat confusing.

Pros: I thought this hotel was great!the staff were very friendly and did a good job. the cleaning of the bedrooms were great too!i couldn't be even more happier.the location was so perfect too, as its not right in the city, but not at all far away from it.this was a great stay!
Cons: Well there were two things that made me a bit unhappy, was i didnt know until i had checked out that i needed to pay extra for tax.this should be something that should have been written on the website and sometold told by the staff or that you had a note in the rooms, as i nearly didnt have money to pay for it. seconed of all, the minibar, we helped ourselves once, and on the bill it said we took more than what we actually did. if i didnt read the bill i would have ended up paying 20 euro more than what i should have..

"It was a quiet hotel"

Pros: It was a quiet hotel.
Cons: We were not informed we need a 300euro deposit for the room which you get back when you leave i had to put this on my debit card as i do not have a credit card they gave it me back in cash (euros) and i have lost £40 on th exchange rate.

Cons: We felt that the parking could have been free.more of a varity on the supper menu for sure.

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful as we had..."

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful as we had a canal view and it was quiet which was great as it meant we had a good nights sleep (on a very comfortable bed!) we will be staying there again.
Cons: We thought that the parking charges (30 euros a day) was slightly steep but its a secure carpark so to be expected.

Pros: The hotel is very well presented and a lot of effort has been put into mantaining a high standard.
Cons: A slight mix up with room booking - we had paid for a canal view, but this was quickly resolved by the duty manager.
