It was a very small hotel With a very steep stair to the floors but it was also an elevator. The staff was very nice and helpful. The beakfast was really good, lots to choose from. Clean and big room. But it was a bit noisy from the other hotelguests, the isolation was not so good. The location was good, Close to the Heiniken and Rijksmuseum, and it was easy and cheap to take the tram to city center, you can buy tickets in the reception.

I love the hotel and will definitely return and recommend it to friends :) The staff is great as well! Emma is the sweetest girl. Very friendly and helpful. The location is quite good and the staff always helped me with directions and advices.

This hotel is well suited for visiting the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. It is very basic---small bar of soap and towels, but it was clean and the breakfast was good served in a light nicely decorated area. The lift was very slow if more than one person wanted to use it.

Hotel is in a good location, in a quiet residential area with easy transport links to the centre and other places of interest. Good eating places and supermarkets near by. Service was excellent, not too much trouble to make us up a breakfast to take on our early morning trips. Breakfast was good and dining room is clean and bright. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we visit.

We stayed for three nights at this hotel in September 2012. Only 10 (ish) minutes from Central Station by tram, in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to the Heineken Brewery. We were welcomed by a very frielndly and helpful guy (Victor) in perfect English, of course. We were given directions for walking to points of interest, where to hire a bike and recommendations for good bars and restaurants. The room was in a building across the street, so not in the actual hotel itself. The room was reasonably spacious for a city centre place. It could not be described as swish or fancy; it felt a bit seventies to me. But it was clean and the beds were made up each day.The breakfast was a limited offering in the "contenental" style - bread, cheese, ham, some natural yogurt, museli, etc (we would have liked some more fruit). That said, it was perfectly adequate, so this is not a complaint, merely an observation.We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Friendly staff, who was always helpful.Decent rooms for the price.The location is also very good, in decent walking range to some major sights and bicycles are always easy to rent.

Pros: They let us have an extra early breakfast when we needed to catch a plane. we thought the room was spacious.
Cons: The hotel is quite noisy between rooms, like hearing people going about their business in the next door bathroom :)

Pros: Well located, close to tourist destinations and nightlife. staff are friendly and helpful and speak perfect english.
Cons: Avoid if you are a light sleeper or noise sensitive! it is extremely noisy with little or no sound insulation, i slept very badly.

Pros: Despite having booked a very small economy twin room with toilet and shower outside the room, we were impressed by the cleanliness of not only our room, but also the public areas which were spotless. the staff, especially sanjay who spoke perfect english, were extremely helpful at check-in and offered us maps of the city, as well as a full description of the hotel and breakfast times etc. we were offered a room key each without having to ask and reception was full of leaflets for all the various facilities the city had to offer. we would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Cons: In a tourist city like amsterdam where there are so many bars, clubs and coffeeshops that remain open until late and of course the many tourist attractions the city has to offer, it would have been good to have had breakfast after the deadline of just 09.30. 10.30 or 11.00 would have been so much better.
