Expensive, not clean, extremely noisy, not close to main parts of Amsterdam, Booked specifically a room with double bed (even checked reviews, specificiations etc etc) and received 2 singles, with 2 separate sheets, blankets etc - not even an attempt to make them 1. Ruined a good weekend.

choose this if you stay for sleep and not more (for people>30)but then the location is top, near museums and concerthallsand very quiet, when your neighbour sleeps too

Despite the room was very little compare with other hostels and no breakfast included, the bathroom was very clean , comfortable social area and the people was the best!

Not pleasant at all the wallpaper in the rooms was flaking and bubbling up everything felt damp and uncomfortable, the walls where covered in little black dots looks like mould, me and other friends have countless bites from bed bugs all the bad reviews are true. The pictures must of been taken when it was new because those rooms on the pictures looked nice. I shall never stay here when we return I'd rather pay an extra 30 pound and enjoy my stay rather than let it ruin the trip

Unfortunately I was seeking cheap accommodation in Amsterdam, and it would appear I got what I paid for. Whilst the room was clean and, whilst small, big enough for just me, I was disappointed by the lack of towels in there. Not even a hand towel! No mention of this on the website. Being a Hostel it was full of load young people who were obviously out to have fun, but didn't care about anyone else. Sleep was almost impossible with them running up and down the corridors and banging on doors at all hours. The TV was dreadful - I only got one channel with a half decent picture the entire time. Location was fine for me and a 10 minute tram ride to the city centre. Next time I go to Amsterdam I'll fork out more money and get somewhere less dire.

We stayed in a 6 bed dorm with private bathroom. The room and bathroom were really good sized. Very clean. Good location within close distance to trams. Breakfast was good too. Would recommend staying here.

Pros: Its location was about its only benefit
Cons: Poorly informed and rude staff are used to dealing with young uncomplaining guests. i pointed out several instances where because of their bad information i was inconvenienced, to which their reaction was i was at fault.

Pros: Hotel inner was clean and situated in a beautiful part of town. the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and the overall experience was wonderful.
Cons: One shower/toilet adjacent to the room meant it was a bit noisy if you showered in the morning or late at night.
