Hotel Manofa アムステルダム  

This hotel, if you can call it that, I would call it a hostel, is fine if you want to be slap bang in the middle of Amsterdam with some mates. It has beds and a sink, and a toilet, and a shower, just about. I would never in a million years stay here with my family, but if you want cheap and cheerful and no need for taxis and trams and trains, and just somewhere to sleep, it will do. Staff were nice enough and it was just about clean, but it is basic beyond belief

Manofa Hotel is conveniently situated close to the station. Good value for money and if you are looking for the real Amsterdam experience - this is it! On the Damrak where all the action is. Lovely breakfast as well! We enjoyed our stay!

Granted this hotel is easy to find and in a very central location but I can say that it has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in !! There were rats in our room and when I complained it fell on deaf ears it was disgusting !!

Very central! So it was noisy but that was expected! Breakfast ok - slightly minimal. Bed Linen poor - hair, stains, holesStaff friendly and helpful - one male receptionist sang all night!! The room location was not good, you hear everyone coming and going and it was next to the cleaning closet which was in use every morning. Overall it was ok, convenient more than anything!

The building is old. Room too small and not properly painted. Tiny closet, not hangers. Shower broken, toilet dirty and broken. Breakfast was ok.It is in the center but it is too expensive for what they offer.

The rooms are smelly and very small. The stairs atr very steep and I was on the 4th flooerand no lift,s so that meant carrying my suitcase all the way up the starirs.Staffs are not very friendly. No kettle in the room or wake up call available.Toilets atre very small. The hotel is very overpriced

Great Central Location, Excellent value for money. Would recommend to friends. Would stay here again. Staff did all I asked. Stairs not as steep as other hotels, ha ha ha ha. Great location between Dam square and central train station, two minutes walk each.

I stayed for two nights then missed my flight and stayed another nightThe staff were extremely accommodating and the WiFi was superbI stayed on the first floor - this appears to be where they put the quieter guests so if you want a pleasant stay try getting a room on that floor as I understand some of the higher floors can get a bit noisyThe breakfast is basic but what I expected at the priceI liked the Hotel that much that I went back after missing my flight and they were able to get me on the first floor againI had some heating problems but these were solved withing minutes (they gave me an electric fan heater)I will definitely stay here again next year

Great location.. For the price we paid basically We expected a not very clean room with single beds and a shared bathroom. When booking i requested if possible double bed and a view of the street.. We were really really happy when we arrived, lovely reception area with vending machines, helpful staff.. And in our room they had made us a double bed from 2 singles, we had 3 giant windows which looked down onto busy Damrak and.. AN ENSUITE BATHROOM! We were over the moon.. Breakfast was basic but very tasty.. We will definately return to Manofa!! They only problem we had is that we thought we had already paid the hotel, but that was our own fault for not reading the small print which says hotel must be paid on arrival, thankfully my parter had brought his credit card or we would have had little spending money left if he didnt

just the average hotel in that area of Amsterdam. Very well located, but hothing more. Friendly staff and average breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. Very uncomfortable the long stairs that leads to the lobby. I do no know if there isan elevator, since my room was at the lobby level.

Infested by mice...!!! They were in the roof. I could hear them running around. Claws scratching the roof panels. On the last morning there were 3 mice actually in the room running around on the floor. Shocking.....This hotel should be shut down by health and safety.!!! we had booked a smoking room but when we got there they checked us into a non-smoking. When we noticed I went to reception and was told the hotel didn't have smoking rooms. Its a joke because I could have got a really nice hotel for the same price if I had booked non-smoking. All in all it completely wrecked the trip and was by far the worst hotel I've ever been unfortunate to stay in. be warned.......

I hadn't seen any bugs or anything, and the rooms are pretty empty except for the beds, an old tv, and a sink. But the rates are good, and it's a great location to stay if you're only in the room to sleep.

Not as bad as some of the reviews that were posted. It is cheap, so you get what you pay for. Beds and bathroom were clean, the walls of the room were a bit dirty and a stain on the roof but nothing terrible. I can report that there were NO mice traps or mice under the beds.

Was at this hotel a few years ago and didnt think much of it. Just back from a 3 night stay last sunday and ive changed my opinion was in a single room and had no problems. right in the hart of amsterdam so grate location. never saw any rats or mice room was tidy and sheets changed everyday. room was a bit small but every room in amsterdam is!

Booked as an alternative as my usual hotel in Amsterdam was full, but found this hotel to be good, only in the room to sleep but had a single room with shower and toilet in . Reasonable price and the location is perfect for my use

that was the worst hotel i tried in my life.i waited till 5 pm to get my room and it was in the 4th floor and there is no left ,there was no towels in the bathroom and i couldn't sleep because you can feel any one walking out side the room because of the wooden floor

I stayed ther for few days this weekend with a friend, the good thing about the hostal Manofa is that is in the centre of Amsterdam, 5 min walking from the central station. However, the room wasn´t what we saw in the Internet, it was reaally really small and dark, kind of scary. I didn´t care so much because I was in Amsterdam to have a great time, but for the price we was paying (like 35 eur per nicht each) the room was really awfull.

Clean,warm and comfortable rooms.The location is perfect to go in the city center in 2 minutes.We only had a little problem the first day with the water in the bathroom for have shower.It's a nice hotel,very practice for people who stay a pair of days.

A good value for money hotel in an excellent location. Good comfortable beds. Staff always friendly and helpful. Safe environment.

Great location was all that was good about this hotel.Single room, small. bathroom , not enough room to use the toilet and shut the door.Not even a glass to rinse your teeth after brushing.Do not understand how hotels like this are allowed a licence.
