"Fantastic weekend away"

Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants quality for money and a very quiet weekend away with a fabulous view to gaze at! the hotel had many facilities including swimming pool and restaurants car parking,bike hire and much much more would come back any time.

"Hotel Okura: Lovely, but expensive"

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Okura. The staff is friendly and helfpul; the room was lovely, functional, and comfortable. I managed to get a lower price through easytobook.com than the group rate offered by the hotel to the organization whose meeting I attended. While the price I got was lower, it was still very, very high. In other words, I love the hotel, but would have trouble justifying staying there again no matter who is paying.Minor nit: the view from the upstairs bar is lovely, but the seating is not conducive to comfortable conversation.

Pros: Excellant hotel with all the facilities. the restaurants a bit pricy but there are choices and the snacks in the bar are very reasonable so it does cater for all pockets.

Pros: The staff was very helpful, we got there early so they let us check in early. the deluxe room was just like the pictures. it was 20 mins away from dam, but it was nice loads of shops in the area
in the evening the cleaners give your room an extra clean
worth the money spend

Cons: It doesnt tell you that you have to pay a deposit for every night you stay
health spa in not included
very expensive €100pp to eat in the resturant

Pros: It is well located, city centre very accessible by bus. the view of the room was excellent. about the room, good dimension. nice room service. the japaneese restaurant was excellent.
Cons: Room would need to be refreshed as it looks a bit soiled. we had to claim once for the room to be cleaned. breakfast very expensive.

Pros: As the "old look" hotel in a suburb, with high price giving impression this hotel is for selected personalities.
Cons: "okura" as a brand in my opinion should bring "eastern smiles and services", but it is actually doing a strict business like hotels. the price is maybe one thing, but the way services is conducted is the most important that i don't think okura amsterdam successfuly achieve the excellent services as expected.

Enjoy all that 5-star Hotel Okura has to offer. In such a large hotel you'll have plenty of room to spread out. Albert Cuyp Market, Heineken Experience and House of Bols can all be found in the near surroundings. Staying here puts you in a good position for easy access to Sarphati Park, Pijp area plus Museumplein Amsterdam. Insightful options, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum are in the near surroundings. A point of interest in the surroundings is Skinny Bridge.

Hotel Okura stands out, as it not only has a garden on the property, but also a terrace and a coffee shop/café. You will appreciate that there is a swimming pool here, alongside an indoor swimming pool. A sauna can be found on-site and, along with a beauty salon and a steam room. Forgot something at home? A gift shop that is located on site could provide a solution. This hotel can offer you services such as a limousine service, a shoe polishing service and an express check-in/out service during your stay. Meet up in one of the 15 meeting rooms. Business guests can benefit from a conference space, which is available here in addition to a business center and an audio-visual equipment set. Getting somewhere is made easier, as they offer a paid airport shuttle bus at the hotel.

Hotel Okura prohibits smoking in the rooms. There is air conditioning throughout this accommodation.
