"Easter Holiday"

We had a family holiday in Barcelona (2 adults and 2 kids) and stayed at Aparthotel Atenea. Overall the experinece has been very good. Location is great in terms of connecting to different parts of Brcelona through Metro. Room was little cramped, but we managed well. Staff was very helpful.

"The hotel was good"

If you are driving a car you could park for free if you arrive in the weekend (Saturday from 14:00 to Monday) I have to say something wrong, we could say that I miss some dishwashing liquid.

"Well located with large, well equipped rooms, no frills - exactly as described!"

The stay here was fine. We didn't spend much time in the hotel as there is so much to in the city, but the time we spent there was fine. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were polite and friendly. The "apartment" was well equipped with its own little kitchen (although no kettle!!) - we didn't use this at all. The beds were comfortable and everywhere was clean which was the main thing! We paid for and had breakfast in the hotel at €11 each - breakfast was ok, pretty average - but if you only want coffee and a croissant there is a place across the road which offers this for €4.95!The hotel is right beside the metro station of les corts and this is great. It's only a couple of minutes walk and then you can get anywhere. We were on the first floor, so we had absolutely no views, but if this is important I am sure if you requested one of the top floors this would be better ...maybe?All in all the hotel was fine, great location and friendly staff.

"Great hotel if you're going to Camp Nou"

The hotel was nice. I (28 years old) traveled with my father and my sister (33 years old). * The staff was helpful when we needed help to order taxi and breakfast to take with us. * The breakfast at the hotel was good. Not best of best, but nice with bacon and eggs, tea, coffee, juice, bread and pastries. * Great location for going to camp nou. After the game a lot of people queued to come down to the subway, we could walk to our hotel!* Hotel is also very close to subway. Takes about 15-20 min to Ramblan. * The room was good for the three of us because you could close a door between the sofa (where my dad slept) and the bed (where me and my sister slept). * The room ha a small kitchen with refrigerator* The air condition was not working and the room was very hot at times. Luckily we could open windows to cool down the room a bit.

Pros: Very good place near the green line metro, which goes directly to the centre of the barcelona. also the biggest shopping centres are 5 min from hotel. hotel is very modern, big rooms, stuff speaks in english.

Cons: Family room does not sleep 4 people comfortably, sofa bed was really uncomfortable, even for children!

Pros: Small kitchen area with fridge, sink, microwave and electric rings was useful, espacially if staying a few days. staff were pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Rooms are in need of a little sprucing up. in particular the air conditioning was old and did not work, furniture was a little tired looking and there was only one dining chair in the room. kitchens would benefit from a toaster.

"Very clean"

Pros: Very clean. easy to find - just two stops on the tube from sants (where the trains from the airport stop). very friendly english speaking staff. nice location.
Cons: I think there is a nightclub near the hotel as we could hear music on the friday and saturday nights - however it wasn't loud enough to be a distraction and none of us had trouble sleeping.

Earning its 4 stars, Atenea Barcelona Aparthotel is ideal for all types of visitor. With the number of rooms in this hotel, you have plenty of choice. Public transport is facilitated by nearby Sants Station. Probably on your 'to-visit' list, Camp Nou is not far from here. FC Barcelona Museum is a museum that you would not want to miss during your visit to Barcelona. If you are here for business reasons, you may enjoy nearby Catalonia Palace of Congresses.

Atenea Barcelona Aparthotel stands out, as it not only has a restaurant on the property, but also a coffee shop/café and a smoking area. A car rental desk is a service here, along with a fax service and a doctor on call. One of the shops where you can buy goods during your stay is a gift shop.
