Description
Apt. Gran Via is a beautifully accommodation with a tasteful mix of modern facilities set in the genuine architecture of 2 amazing central apartments. The property offers 13 private rooms, a kitchen and shower facilities, in an excellent central location and all at great economical rates.
The top apartment has 6 spacious private twin rooms (each with 2 single beds), a fully equipped kitchen and two full bathrooms with tub/showers for all guests to share. There is also a large common room with 2 sofas and dining table. The terrace in this flat also has a dining table and chairs which is great for taking in a little fresh air or and outside meal.
The other apartment, is newly refurbished just as the one in ther third floor and is located just below the other apartment and is nearly identical. This beautiful flat has 7 rooms in total; 4 private twin rooms, 2 double rooms and 1 private double with an en-suite bathroom. The 6 rooms with shared bathrooms, share 3 modern bathrooms and all guests share the fully equipped kitchen and dining gallery.
The property is located in a great neighborhood centrally situated just 10 minutes walking distance from Placa Catalunya, Arc de Triumph, Casa Battlo and just 15 minutes walking distance from La Rambla and La Padrera. Metro and bus stations, internet cafes and phone booths are all just 5 minutes walking distance away. Also a great feature to the location is the small convenience store and the cafe/restaurant downstairs.
Minimum stay required: 3 nights New year’s minimum stay requiered: 5 nights (From 22/12 till 04/01) IMPORTANT!! Please read this carefully! NO RECEPTION AREA: The management office hours are every day from 9 am to 9 pm. It is mandatory that you call the apartment when you arrive in Barcelona and before you arrive at the apartment in order to receive your exact check-in time.
Free check-in: From 11:30 hrs to 21.00 hrs.
Late check-in charges:
25 euros/Each room (21:01 to 23:00 hours)
50 euros/Each room (23:01 to 01:00 hours)
75 euros/Each room (01:01 to 11:29 hours)
Cash on arrival: The remaining balance is due on arrival in CASH EUROS ONLY! Other currencies, credit cards, or cheques are not accepted.

HOW TO ARRIVE By metro: You can take the purple metro line 2 to 'Tetuan' or to 'Passeig de Gracia', you can also take the yellow metro line 4 to 'Passeig de Gracia' or to 'Urquinaona' and you can also take the red metro line 1 to 'Urquinaona'.
From Barcelona Airport: Take the Aerobus to Placa Catalunya. Then walk up to Pg. de Gracia and from there to Gran Via. Take a right here and walk 4 blocks to the corner of Girona where you will find the apartment.
From Sants train/bus station: Take the green metro line 3 to metro station 'Catalunya'. Then walk up to Pg. de Gracia and from there to Gran Via. Take a right here and walk 4 blocks to the corner of Girona where you will find the apartment.
From 'Estacio del Nord' bus station: Take a taxi to the corner of Gran Via and Girona or take the metro to the 'Urquinaona' stop.

Recht zentrale lage, viele sehenswürdigkeiten mit 10-15 min fußweg gut zu erreichen, alt. metro. das zimmer war sauber und schön.wurde in der woche in der wir da waren einmal gereinigt. 3 bäder, 2 mit dusche, schön eingerichtet, wurden jeden vormittag gereinigt. die gemeinschaftsküche hatte alles was man brauchte und war ebenfalls immer sauber. 
Das apartment liegt direkt an einer großen kreuzung. wen verkehrslärm beim schlafen stört sollte ohropax einpacken. es dürfte aber schwer fallen etwas ruhigeres zu finden, da in barcelona z.b. jede nacht die müllabfuhr kommt. Keller

Good location. supremely clean. excellent introduction to apt and things to do in barca. will definatley go back.I would describe the gran via apt as having an atmosphere as that of a library!!!! the floors are tiled and the doors rickety, so any noise made travels. they were rumbles in the night!!!!!! however, i still love it.Mathewson

Excellent location, very clean, good facilities, helpful staff.Hot water not always available for showers, a little street noise at night, can sometimes hear people in apartments next to you. i would also avoid using the lift!Sharp
