Pros: Wonderful stay - friendly and very helpful fully multi-lingual staff. i would recommend the hotel to any and all of the groups listed below.
Cons: We had to ask for two extra pillows for the twin room (which were brought immediately) - one pillow each is not really enough. also, a safe with a code the customer creates is safer and more accessible. we assumed there would be a charge if we asked for the key to the locked safe in our room - and then there is always the worry, who else has a key?

Pros: Excellent reception staff. room very nice - we had a triple room, which had plenty of space, bathroom equally spacious.
Cons: Location near to all points of interest, but walk from plaça catalunya should not be classed as "within walking distance", as this walk took 20 minutes.

Cons: We booked a triple room and we got a twin room with an additional bed. it was very cramped and the charge for the saturday night at nearly 300 euros was exhorbitant. i may well try the hetel de compte next time as their prices seem a little bit more reasonable
