Pros: Excellent location in the heart of barcelona city, staff were very freindly and helpful, all linen was changed daily and cleaned
Cons: Paid extra for en-suite but bathroom was so small we had to sit on toilet sideways, it was physically impossible to use toilet normally in that room, there was only one socket located in the bathroom and room was very hot, the fan provided needed to be by the window at night to draw in cool air but instead just circulated the hot air in the room

Pros: Great location, just off la ramblas. fairly quiet, considering location. good blackout blind on windows.
Cons: Tv didn't work. no internet in room, but good access in lobby. no parking opportunities at all.

Pros: When we booked the triple room, hostel europa website shows a 3 single beds picture which gave me the impression that it will be a 3 single beds triple room. however when we arrived hostel europa, the staff told us that unless we specified on our booking, they’ll normally give you 1 double and 1 single bed as the hostal as only limited of 3 single beds room. but as soon as we explained that we need 3 single beds due to medical condition, the staffs tried their best and rectify the problem for us. although we have to 2 different rooms for our 3 nights stay, we are very happy with the staff services. the hostal itself looks quite old and run down but the location of the hostal is very good, hence it’s ok and suitable for a short stay in barcelona.

Pros: Helpful front desk
Cons: They didn't clean the room one day, and didn't leave towels the other day. the walls were thin and we could hear children stomping on the floor above us early in the morning.

Pros: Excellent location just off the ramblas. it is as you would expect...a little rundown but it is cheap to stay there and the location makes up for the slightly rundown feel.
Cons: Staff were incredibly rude, barely acknowledged our questions and it soured our experience of the hotel.

Pros: The location is perfect. just that for i would stay again.
