Hotel with an acceuil voucher of the staff.Correct breakfast buffetClean Chamber but with a lack of class with regard to the practised prize.Indeed, bulbs were not changed us in spite of several requests.The water dispenser and of ice cubes in the lane was not connected.. Some small problems of finishes which did not prevent to us from having an excellent stay

"Wonderful Hotel"

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Diagonal Zero. It is handy to the lovely beaches and the area is perfect for walking, eating and taking in the sights. We found the Hop On Hop Off bus the perfect way to access the city from here as you can get off at places like La Sagrada Familie, Les Ramblas, Le Parc Guell etc. etc.We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very comfortable place to stay in Barcelona - and the breakfasts are amazing!

"holiday in Europe"

when check in we got a smoking room with sea view, after a lot of discussions we accept a non smoking room with no sea view for 1 day then hotel would change room to non smoking room and sea view, as we have order. Next day we got a new room with sea view but also smoking room. Then we want to leave and pay for 1 night. After long talk and argument the hotel offer us a new room non smoking and sea view, and as benefit we could use hotel lounge and have free parking. We accept and then everything was OK. Sad to have so much trouble, when hotel new our order. Not happy, but forget it now.

"A rare European Gem"

Having stayed at Hotel 987 with incredible mediocrity and bad service in Barcelona, we were unsure what to expect and lowered our expectations for Hotel Diagonal Zero. Boy were we wrong! This is an ultra modern hotel fully deserving of the 5 stars. Being from North America where value for money in hotels is the norm this hotel was incredibly nice. The service was top notch, very friendly staff who were willing to assist and offer advice that was free from bias. The location is great just a short walk away from the beach, shopping center,museum and La Ramble by Catalunya. In future this will be our hotel of choice in Barcelona. Don't be fooled by the name of the hotel. This is an excellent modern hotel

"Diagonal Zero"

The hotel is very good. The services are good. The breakfast is excellent.The climate of the room is excellent, it is neither too hot nor too cold.The only bad thing is the box in the bathroom, it does not close and the time to take a shower the bathroom is all wet.

"my review"

Everything was fine with the exception that I could hear the water trickling down the tubes from a neighbouring room which woke me up and the freebees where a bit on the thin side. I got only showergel and a plastic comb. The Service at the Bar in the hallway was a bit slow.

"A misleading picture"

The main picture that is used for the advertisement of this hotel is misleading because it creates a perception that all the rooms have sea side view. The truth is that most of the rooms have as a view the offices of a local utility company.The rooms are equiped with a touch screen for the control of the lighting that it should be called "multiple touch" because you should touch each selection multiple times in order to operate.The SPA is expensive and the breakfast is average. My opinion is that value that you get for the money that you pay is below the average.

Pros: I was kindly allowed to stay a bit past check out time at no extra charge, on a busy day for the hotel- thank you fabrizio. in general, staff were professional, friendly, nice, helpful and they smiled!
Cons: Not so much negative- i noticed some of the staff with yellow t-shirts were not as pleasant to deal with as the ones in a suit.

Pros: The staff were very helpful, and there was free wi-fi available. the hotel also had a lovely pool and spa area.
Cons: The soap dispenser int eh bathroom was broken, but we were not provided with any soap so had to use the shampoo from teh shower. also there is a window into the bathroom. there was a blind that could be pulled down, but once the lights were on this became see-through again. i did not like this
