"Layed back and relaxed"

I stayed at hotel grums for my birthday weekend. The hotel and the room was very impressive, worth every single penny. The hotel is in a great locations close to the mariana and some of the best restaurants I've eaten at. Thank you for such a great weekend Grums hotel!

"Barcelona visit"

Nice hotel.10 mins walk to Las Ramblas. Very clean good service and nice spa. My only fault was the wifi service in our room did not work for my iPad and iPhone on the second floor. It did work well in the main reception.

"Good location, clean hotel"

The hotel was a good 20 minutes from La Rambla so close enough to walk and far enough away to get a peaceful nights sleep. The room was basic but clean. I would recommend it as a cheap hotel to stay but there aren't many frills with it, but you do get what you pay for!

"Excellent Stay"

Went for a quick city break away. The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. All the facilities were clean and modern and the rooms were excellent; spacious, comfy and stylish. Would 100% stay again and I have reccomended the hotel already to friends!

"EXCELLENT!!!!"

I stayed in this hotel last weekend with my boyfriend. We managed to find this earsily from the train station and were very surprised at the excellent location. this is only a few minutes walk from the world trade center/port. also only a couple of minutes across the roundabout to La Ramblas. We had some excellent meals around the area and caught the open top bus tour on the roundabout. The hotel itself was brilliant. We were greated with very friendly staff and quickly dealt with. The room was beautiful. Big bed, nice shower, air con and an added bonus of the sink also in the bedroom. We had complimentary water and a mini fridge to stock with drinks. The room was very spacious and light. We used the spa which was nice after a long hard day walking around the city. We had breakfast which i must say had a lot of choice. The cocktails in the bar were ver y tasty. The terrace area is also a big plus. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit barcelona. thank you for making my stay so nice

"OK for sleeping; poor food and beverage service"

Friendly staff and acceptable waiting time at check-in. Nice rooms with washing table not separate from sleeping place (can be noisy for late sleepers) and good quality of bed. extra children bed has a very thin mattrass.Do not use hotel for breakfast, drinks or other food. Almost no service in bar and nothing fresh on menu. 2 houses to the left is breakfast café with way better prices!

"10 minute walk away from the bottom of the ramblas depending on what route..."

Pros: 10 minute walk away from the bottom of the ramblas depending on what route is taken. very modern and clean looking hotel. room was very nice too, just about right for the price and the room was above average.
Cons: Unfortunately there was a horrid smell coming from the shower drain and not the toilet as we first thought. we werent in the room to often so we didnt notice it during the day but noticable when you first use the toilet in the morning. also, the water in the bath would not fill either so my partner could not soak her feet after long walks. we were offered another room but choose not to accept this as we were half way through the week anyway. these would be my only negatives and it was something we should have mentioned straightaway but didnt. this could have been our room only so cant say if all the rooms were like this.

"Great modern design"

Pros: Great modern design. large room
extra large double bed, very comfortable, nice bedding.
Cons: Location was at a poor area of the city, and to reach las ramblas had to go through unpleasant/not-so-safe areas especially at night.
incredible to charge 10 euro/day for access to the spa center, which was not mentioned at their web site, or the booking confirmation.
air conditioning impossible to control temperature, too cold!
hotel failed to satisfy special request for high floor quite room althought had booked 3 months in advance, was allocated first floor in the front which was noisy. when requested another room, was told the hotel was full, and it was only 13:00!
