Pros: Staff were very helpful and efficient. buffet breakfast was good and reasonably priced. very easy place to stay in terms of public transport around the hotel. hotel well presented and very clean.
Cons: Mattresses are too hard/poor quality/not comfortable; couldn't get a room with two little beds separated; privacy hard to maintain: conversations from room next door were very easy to hear which means very poor insulation against noise.

Pros: Although the location is a bit far from the main tourist spots - la rambla, it is easy to access though metro and close to the sagrada familia. staff are very helpful. room is clean. unfortunately, we could not get a room with balcony, but i will still recommend this hotel.

Pros: Room comfortable, close to metro, staff helpful especially when my husband had his wallet stolen!
Cons: Could we suggest bedside tables with more space, ie a drawer. we found with lamp and telephone, there was little space for glasses, water at night, notepad ie things you like to have at hand in a strange place in the night.

Pros: The location was very quiet at night. close to gaudi ave. 3 blocks from the metro station

Pros: Receptionists were kind. helped us with directions. room and bathroom were clean. there is a bus stop just next door where you can get to downtown and other destinations within 15-20 minutes.
Cons: We could not make the coffee machine give us a coffee _without_ sugar. the room was too hot. turning down the thermometer didn't seem to help.

Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful at all times - checking in/ out, dealing with any questions we had. although the room was small, it was well-organised, so we didn't feel cramped. lovely hot shower in bathroom. everything was spotlessly clean. all good! i would recommend this hotel to all the categories below - although it is a tad utilitarian for honeymooners and romantics (but when you're in lurve, the surroundings fade into the background, don't they?!)
Cons: We would have appreciated coffee making facilities in our room - a cup of coffee before we set out to explore barcelona would have been good, i.e. to wake us up!
