We stayed here for 5 nights in September and really have no complaints at all. The hotel is very nice and clean, the staff is friendly and the location is good (just a few short blocks off La Rambla but in the more quiet part).I can't say the bed was particularly comfortable (too hard) and the half shower door was weird and caused water to spray all over the floor but the bathroom was very large and well appointed. All in all we would definitely stay here again if we were in Barcelona.

Enjoyed a 1 night post cruise stay in this hotel. About 5-7 min walk from the top of Las Rambles and the Airport Bus Main Stop. Very pleasant and efficient welcome from David on Reception who spoke excellent English. Rooms comfortable and a good size with a flat screen TV. Two English channels available, BBC World News and CNN. Air Conditioning and fridge worked well although the free wi-fi was weak in the room but good in Reception. Did not use the Pool area but it looked really good on the roof of the hotel. For breakfast, out of the hotel turn left and about 15 yards a small cafe called Nostrum provided all we needed with very good prices. Happy to recommend this hotel and would use again. Quiet and safe area.

Great location near lots of restaurants and shops and a very short walk to La Rambla. Also close to a few different Metro stations, so the beach is only a few stops away if you don't want a long walk. Nice small pool on roof terrace and friendly staff.TV is spanish-speaking channels only. There's a minibar/fridge in room but no kettle/tea making facilities.

Pros: This is the second time i have stayed at the onix rambla while in barcelona. it is in a terrific location-perfect walking distance to several metro stops, the placa catalunya, las ramblas, and a nearby starbucks! the rooms are enormous, breakfast is quite decent, free wifi (though you may want to get the ethernet cable from the front desk for a faster connection). the hotel is very clean and bright, and the rooms have their own small balconies. there is even a computer and printer so if you need to check email or quickly print something, it's no problem.
Cons: One downside is because of its central location, there is a lot of street noise! i recommend earplugs to get some sleep.

if you have a late flight, and after checking out, a shower and changing room is available if needed with towels and toiletries etc. would recommend this hotel to all.

Cons: Don't stay this hotel. there is a thief in this hotel employee. i forgot to take the key in the room. our suit case was opened, our suitcases were opened, and japanese yen that existed in an inside purse in our suitcases was stolen for 80,000 yen. and also, the souvenir put on the shelf was felt after, and the arrangement of contents had changed. the thief might have touched. even if the reception desk at the hotel is told that, nothing is done. they said "call oneself if you want to call the police. it right now checks out and it doesn't care if you do not believe this hotel. well, what do you want to do?" i don't recommend this hotel.

Pros: We stayed at hotel onix rambla for total of 7 days. the location of the hotel is excellent; in the center, 2 minutes walk from placa catalonia (la rambla). the rooms were wide and very clean (we stayed in two different rooms since we were off in costa brava and returned to barcelona). the staff of the hotel was very kind and very helpful and made the stay pleasent. the hotel looks very nice from inside. breakfast was ok for hotels at this level (three stars hotels). there is a desk (only one, but usually it's free) with free internet access. it was an excellent choise to stay at onix and i would defenately retrun to this hotel if i'm in barcelona again.
Cons: I really don't have anything negative to say about my stay at the hotel. the only thing i would comment is that the sweeming pool on the roof is very small, but it's quite nice to get inside and refresh after a long walking day of exploring the city.
