Molinos グラナダ

Pros: Great location (walking distance to the sights), clean room, good size bathroom with shower/bathtub. the hotel has a rooftop terrace with a great view (especially at sunset). jose at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful with our many questions about services in granada, restaurants, etc. computer in the lobby for free internet use. we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.
Cons: We were on the fourth floor and there was no elevator. we had no problem with this, but it would be a problem for someone who has trouble with stairs. jose offered numerous times to take our luggage to the fourth floor for us the night we arrived, but we declined. our room was right below the rooftop terrace and on our last night, other guests were on the terrace late at night screeching the metal furniture around (it sounded like they were redecorating the place), which was frustrating. we did not discuss it with the front desk since it was our last night.

Pros: The welcome on arrival was great, with very helpful and friendly staff. desk is open 24 hours and provided very good service throughout - city maps, hairdryer, extra linen etc available on request. the hotel was clean and comfortable, and very well located near numerous good restaurants, bars and cafes, and with close access both to the alhambra and to more city-centre tourist sites. not a luxury hotel, but very good standard for an inexpensive and friendly stay. guests seemed mostly 20s to 40s friends/ couples and family groups, all looking satisfied with the deal. there was a fabulous breakfast cafe right opposite, too!
Cons: Nothing negative at all.

Pros: Very friendly and obliging staff who went out of their way to be helpful.
Cons: The plumbing was noisy.
