Pros: The staff at regional was very helpful and friendly and it was in a great location. also, it was very inexpensive. there is a full kitchen available to guests during certain hours. free wi-fi was a plus.
Cons: This hotel is really a hostel with basic amenities. it needs some updates in the rooms and it's separate bathrooms.

Pros: Location, room prices, kitchen facility, refrigerator, wi fi facilities are excellent.
Cons: - authorized hostal management does not sit in the hostal. the staff at duty in the hostal knows very little or at all no english, due to which problems arise due to lack of communication especially in case of any change in your scheduled reservation.
- there is no luggage room in the hostal. on demand, the staff on duty flatly refuses the same.
- private w.c. is only in one room.
- the rooms on the street side are full of noise during all the night especially on week ends.

Pros: Very basic but very economical and conveniently located in the centre of town, everything is walking distance.
also the underground station is only 5 minutes walk away.
the kitchen is a tad gloomy but clean, there's a fridge guests can use and fully equipped with cooker, microwave, pots, plates etc.
the staff is very kind and helpful.
Cons: A bit run down, the room we stayed in was quite dark, the bathroom in poor conditions. the staff don't speak english.

Pros: Cheap considering the location and the guy at the reception helped with our queries and fix th tv in our room.
Cons: Our bedroom was not renovated since the 1950s. the kitchen was sticky and unfriendly to use. i would only reccomend this hotel as the last resort. the lift and stairs were certainly a great expression of madrid architecture. they were much better then the hotel.

Pros: Perfect location ( just in the middle in te city, restaurants, bar, shops, tourist attractions, metro just two steps away ).
and pretty cheap.
not five stars of course, but everything was ok.
Cons: Staff ( it's an old man all the time ) speaks only spanish.

Cons: Отелю требуется ГРАНДИОЗНЫЙ ремонт, т.к. полы сгнили и проваливаются, комнаты темные, мебель старая и вся разношерстная. Честно сказать - ужас ужасный. Но может быть цена и месторасположение оправдывают такое ужасное состояние отеля.

Pros: Regional is a family owned hostal (not really a hotel!) where extremely cheap prices don't mean an unenjoyable stay. however please note contrary to website information, breakfast is not included. there is a kitchen that guests can use though, and we had a fridge/freezer in our room, meaning we actually saved money on food. the decor is a bit random and the building is quite old (the lift is a relic) but on the whole the place was very clean. towels were available on request.
Cons: Not really; although the availability of crockery/cutlery in the kitchen left much to be desired, you may prefer to bring your own. also you need to speak rudimentary spanish or have a phrase book handy as none of the staff really spoke any english.
