Hotel staff were helpful, professional and friendly.Our room had a lovely view of the water and mountains. The room was large and clean but the decor was dated. The bathroom was small but functional. The downfall was that there wasn't a minibar or kettle with tea/coffee bags in the room.Breakfast was basic - cereal, bread, cheese, cold cut meats, yoghurt, raw eggs (to boil). It would have been better if hot meals were offered.The hotel was a 30 minute walk to the Interlaken Ost station. If the weather is nice, the walk is pleasant. There is a bus stop location within 5-10 minute walking distance from the hotel. Buses pass through every hour so best you know the bus schedule in advance. The room is expensive especially if no room service, mini bar or hot breakfast were offered.Overall, we enjoyed staying at the hotel
