Pros: Location, staff, free breakfest
Cons: Room wasnt very clean, ensuite smelt really bad, shower door barely closed, bed sheets werent clean (staff did change upon request but still had marks on them and blood on the mattress)

Pros: Hotel staff were friendly and terrace at top of hotel was nice
Cons: Our room was basically falling to bits. starting with the main room we had electric sockets not screwed to the wall properly. also the wardrobe looked like it was going to fall over. the worst part of the room was the bathroom. firstly it smelt really bad. next the toilet seat wasn't even screwed to the toilet. the shower unit was broke so we wasn't able to have a shower. you wouldn't dare also as the cables above the shower looked very dangerous.

Pros: I stayed during the period 4-11 dec. 2010. the location was perfect, stuff are very friendly, value of money is excellent.all features were included as stated on the website. there is no big concern about it. of sure i'll return to this hotel back if they gave me the same price

Pros: The ast hotel is a family run operation that provides a good athmosphere. the staff was friendly and really tried to help us with directions and arranging for taxis. the hotel offers a good value for its location. the terrace/roof top gives a nice view of the surrounding. we did not try the breakfast. the hotel room was priced under 50 euros, which was reasonable.
Cons: The shower of the hotel is not covered so it was easy to get the floor wet. if you are a slight sleeper, you may find difficult to sleep because of the 5am prayers at the nearby mosque (they use speakers). no soap or shampoo available.

Pros: The staff at the ast hotel were very friendly and tried to make my experience in istanbul very enjoyable, they were helpful with suggestions of things to do and see, sightseeing and tours. the breakfast consists of bread, boiled eggs, tea, coffee, yogurt, some sort of lunchmeat, tomatoes, cheese, cucumbers. it was adequate and there was always tea and coffee available in the lobby. all the staff were great.
Cons: The hotel on the easy book website shows a front patio with tables and chairs that is no longer there. the terrace looks much more inviting on the website than in reality. the room was fine and bigger than where my friends stayed. my room was cleaned everyday and i was given clean towels each day also. there is air conditioning in the room and i also had a small fridge and a lcd screen tv.

Pros: Friendly staff and good location, a safe place to stay.
Cons: Shower could be a little cleaner. and the neighboring house was in a complete make over so quite some noise after 9:00am in the morning when they start to use the drills.
