Pros: I totally loved my stay in ocean's 7! the guest house is located in the perfect area, right behind the blue mosque and topkapi palace. you can walk to a lot of historical sites and other interesting places like the grand bazaar and otherwise you just take the tramway, which is also only a few minutes away from the guest house.
they also have a boutique hotel, which belongs to the same family and is right around the corner.
when you arrive in the guest house, you feel immediately at home: the welcome is very warm and all the staff is extremely nice! there is not one person who gives you a long face when you ask something and even if you have a strange request, they merely smile and then do anything they can to make you comfortable and happy.
on top of that, the guest house has the most amazing restaurant with typical ottoman food and it is right at your doorstep! even during the winter months you can sit outside because they have heaters to make the terrace still a nice place to sit.
i would recommend everybody who wants to stay in istanbul for a few days to go to ocean's 7, either the guest house or the hotel, it's all one happy family!
i already miss them and would love to go back as soon as possible.
Cons: The only negative point is the size of the cupboard in the room: it is soooooooooo small that i could hardly fit any clothes in it so i had to leave most of my stuff in my suitcase.
