Orchard Hotel London  

Polish staff makes this hotel one the cleanest I have ever been. The hotel must have been recently restored. The brekfast is basic but the position (near Hyde Park) is very good. It is worth the price. Andrea and Beata.

Pros: It was better then i thought, quite basic but very clean and proper. friendly staff and very good
situated in paddington near metro and buses. 20min walk to oxford street.
Cons: Very poor breakfast. coffee was like water.

were very alerted when a friend came over to visit

Pros: Breakfast was just right to start a day of sight-seeing. rooms were small but adequate for our purposes, as we only planned to use it as a small to sleep at the end of full day out in the city.
Cons: The hotel staff were quite unfriendly. i had requested a morning wake-up call which never as the guy at reception was sleeping. i ended up waking up late and almost missed my bus to paris, which would've been quite costly in the form of purchasing two additional tickets to paris. furthemore, when we asked for a cab to take us to our bus, he ended calling up a friend of his, who showed up in a regular car (not a licensed taxi) and charged us an outrageously high fare. we had no choice but to take it given time of day.

Pros: Quick and easy check in and out. room clean
Cons: Dining room not big enough. staff not overly friendly

Pros: Great location and breakfast.
Cons: We were on the third floor and my 70 year old aunt had trouble navigating the skinny, winding staircase.

Pros: Good location
Cons: Lots of stairs... not good after a long days walking around town. breakfast was poor all you got was 1 bacon, 1 egg, beans and toast and cornflakes and watered down orange juice.
