 "Gulliver avoid, but no real complaints"
If you want an average priced hotel very close to Paddington and easy to find, this is great. I had a single room which was very small, so whilst cheap, I've had better value elsewhere. Lobby was inviting, never used the bar/breakfast area but this looked equally nice. Lift was a bit "cosy".All in all, if you are not planning on spending any real time in the room, I recommend this hotel.

more than willing to go back to the Royal Eagle Hotel !A quiet, clean, well located hotel! ................ I would change only the cloakroom basin in the bathroom, it is too small! I don't know about breakfast because we had it outside

They said they up graded the room but it was right up in the roof, it was that warm in there and the heaters were not,. The bath room was that small you could only just move in there. The location was ideal as we got the train into paddington staion.

 "Good stay and convenient"
The hotel was nice and in a good prime location and close by souvenire shops. Cant complain about the cleanliness of the hotel because the room service and maids were on top of everything . Wish wifi was free through or atleast allow multiple connections with the paid wifi.

Despite tiny room i have not realy much to complain regarding hotel accomodation. For London just prior olympic games acceptable price for double room. Undeground very close to hotel. I would certainly come back.

the room was terrible, small, dirty, and the toilette was impraticable and very dangerous becouse We was slipping under the shower. the only tinghs good is the location near the Paddington station. Many time the lifts were out of order and my room was at 4° floor.tanks anyway. with regards vanella

Pros: The hotel is 5 minutes away from paddington tube station, easy to get around.
Cons: The shower in our room was the worst shower ever. you could either have it very cold or very hot. also, we've booked a twin room, got a room with three beds, quite packed in, not much place to move around.

Pros:
the location was great, very good transport connections.
Cons: The room was awefully small for 2 of us with very very limited storage space, we barely could move around the room. the walls were very thin we could hear every steps and move what the other guests made...
the staff was very unfriendly in general and whenever we passed by the front desk they didnt even bother to acknowledge us
for the price we payed it wasnt worth it at all...
we were very dissapointed overall

Cons: Room was clean, decent, but extremely small - you will have a problem if there is more than 1 big luggage!
