Surf Motel San Francisco  

Close to everything, but there is a lot of in noise room that we couldn't identify the source. Clean, nice place to stay!

Everything was great just the street a little noisy during the night.I would stay there again. Stuff was very friendly.

I love this motel is in lombard street.Area is near beach and fisherman warf.Rooms are ok.People kind

Pros: Clean and quiet, great location.
Cons: Key card difficult to operate. need new readers on the doors.

Pros: Although the hotel looked old on the outside, the rooms were very clean and looked newer on the inside. had the best cable of any of the places i stayed in the san fran and bay area that week, including the hilton and marriot marquis.

Pros: Nice location, in heart of marina
Cons: Noisy, room smaelled kind of dank, really cheap, uncomfortable towels

Cons: Nice staff but the place is a dump!

Pros: Good location, big separated room for five (suite) with small kitchen (fridge and microwave), free web
Cons: Breakfast is not really a breakfast, but only a piece of muffin or something similar (no juice...)

Pros: People working the office were very helpful and nice. it's right next door to an i-hop which was helpful. lots of restaurants in the area, and it was safe to walk around after dark.
Cons: We had a "smoking room" which stunk really bad. on our way home we stopped at a days inn and had a smoking room which hardly smelled at all. the surf motel is quite old, and apparently they never try to deoderize their smoking rooms.

Pros: Nice staff. close to a fun shopping area. a ihop is next door for easy breakfast. easy to catch a cab. centrally located for cheap taxi fares. the bathroom was big. good value for the location. lots of antique stores close by. parking was included.

Pros: Close to chestnut, fillmore, and union sts. and what they have to offer.
Cons: Noisy

Pros: Can't beat the price, clean room, courteous staff, near everything.

Pros: The location is great, but the area is still a bit dicey at night. the room was clean and functional and the parking was a big plus. the staff was very nice.
Cons: The bathroom could have used some upgrading, but was clean.
