Naples Courtyard Inn  

I had planned to stay for 4 nights at this hotel, the frosty reception from the girl at check in, wasn't what I hoped for after I had been travelling for over 12 hours. The damp musty smell in the room was the first thing that hit me, when I turned on the A/C it was like a car running in the room, it was that loud! Hence, I didn't sleep at all... So at 5.30am decided to drive around, because being in the room was driving me crazy! I came back to have breakfast, where there was no milk for coffee or cereal, when I told the man at the desk, he told me I should have got there earlier. After asking about loud A/C I was told all rooms were the same, so I decided to check out. I was prepared to pay for the one sleepless night, but I wasn't happy to stay for another 3. But they refused to accommodate my request. Only after speaking with the brilliant customer service staff at Easytobook, who helped me recover 2 nights payments, the hotel retained an extra night as a late cancellation. The way in which this situation was dealt with by Naples Courtyard inn was disgraceful, and I would obviously not recommend this hotel unless you are hard of hearing, no sense of smell, never eat breakfast and don't mind rude staff! Maybe I was unlucky, but it ruined my first night stay in Naples. Thankfully, I had a pleasant stay at another hotel, and then onto my regular hotel which had not been able to accommodate my full stay. Enjoy beautiful Naples, but don't stay at the Naples Courtyard Inn!
