Pros: We had a problem with a blocked toilet on the first night we were there and contacted the super and he was very obliging and came as soon as he could and fixed the problem.
Cons: The stove/oven and refrigerator were both quite dirty

Pros: Brilliant location, making it easy to explore. very good value for money and will defiently use again.
Cons: Could have been cleaner and the night club across the road was alittle noisy (but where isn't noisy in nyc)

Pros: Easy access to shops, bars subway...good area.

Cons: Needed to call ahead to get in to the building and had to pay cash. also they have a three day minimum stay which wasn't on the website. however, they did honor the reservation for one night and let us leave our luggage till 4pm.
this is new york and parking is an issue

Pros: Location very good. nice area. appartment was spacious.no problem sleeping 6 people there.

Pros: Not knowing new york city very well, i was a little apprehensive about renting an apartment for our family's stay but thought the space would be best for our family of 7 (including 2-year-old grandson.) the apartment met our expectations as described in the listing, was clean and basically stocked to meet our needs for 3 days. the 2 window ac units were able to keep the unit cool during 85 degree days; however, it would probably be too warm for us if the temperatures were to rise. ac units are removed for the winter and installed at the beginning of summer. it was convenient and a savings to have a kitchen stocked with basic tools. there were plenty of opportunities nearby for groceries. wonderful restaurants and fairly close proximity to subways was convenient. the restaurants on the street below had outdoor seating which created a great atmosphere. our 20-something children enjoyed the night life. we didn't plan to have much time for tv/dvds so were not disappointed to find that the tv pictured in the listing had been removed and replaced with a smaller unit. overall, i would stay at this unit again and recommend it.
Cons: The apartment needed a little maintenance on the bathroom doorknob and a window covering in the kitchen to keep out the sun.
