Het hotel ligt midden in het centrum van manhattan, ideaal. times square, central park, empire state building, 5th avenue: allemaal lopend bereikbaar.
de hotelmedewerkers zijn enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
het hotel is niet spotgoedkoop, maar wel voor new yorkse begrippen.
het hotel is heel goed te doen als je niet veel luxe verwacht. (je bent het grootste deel van de tijd waarschijnlijk toch niet op de hotelkamer)
De kamer was heel erg klein. de douche ook. de wasbak is zo smal dat je met je schouders niet tussen de muur past.
als je binnenkomt kun je het gevoel hebben 'waar ben ik in godsnaam beland?'. het ziet er enigszins onverzorgd en niet goed onderhouden uit: losse tegels in de badkamer, los behang, lawaaierige airconditioning, losse bedrading...
maar geen onoverkomelijke dingen. nogmaals, goed te doen omdat je er eigenlijk alleen maar slaapt.Anoniem

Though the hotel is shabby, old and the rooms quite small, for this price it delivers more than you would expect. nice, helpfull staff, free internet, free mineral water, and the location is excellent. if you don't mind spending nights in a room of 8m2 including bathroom, this is the place to be!Well, the hotel was very old, shabby, looks like it could fall apart any moment. but it didn't :)Anoniem

It was cheap. the man at the front desk was very friendly and funny.Noisy, dirty, offensive smell in the rooms and hall. elevator sounded as if it would give way at any minute.Neurohr

Localisation on times square is perfect and the personnal was very smarth.C'est vieux et désuet, il faut s'habituer aux trous dans les marches et dans les murs !Anoniem

The staff was exceedingly kind and helpful. very nice flat screen tv in our room. having free computer access was great and free ny coffee in the morning. (ny coffee is great no matter from whom you get it!)the location was fabulous. very easy to get in the city on arrival and out on departure. subway access very close by the hotel.I expected the room to be incredibly small and it was. unless you understand nyc laws about parking, expect to pay 30-50 dollars for a 24 hour period. if you are going n toward 42nd street, take a left on 42nd. you will pass by a 50 dollar (48 to be exact)lot on your right. pass over the first one way street. (i think that is 7th) on your right you will come to a covered lot that is about 30 dollars a 24 hour period. it's a bit more of a walk but worth saving the 20 dollars a day.Anoniem
