New York’s Warwick New York Hotel is a monument to the entertainment business, offering European sophistication in the heart of midtown Manhattan. The hotel oozes entertainment and, indeed, its history is dedicated to show business, being built by newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst in 1926 for actress and former Ziegfield Folly Marion Davies so they could accommodate many of their friends from Hollywood and Broadway. Everything about Warwick New York, NY is grand, from its banquet facilities to its 359 large rooms and 67 majestic suites, several of which come with terracing.
All rooms of the Warwick New York provide standard and bonus amenities that are expected of top-rated hotels with marble bathrooms, high-speed Internet access, mini-bar, dual-line phones and television. As a historic building itself, the Warwick New York Hotel is also affiliated with the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Historic Hotels of America. Despite its loyalty to elegance, the hotel is also in tune with the times, having undergone a US$20 million renovation in 1998. In a tribute to its builder, the hotel’s premier restaurant is called “Randolph’s”, which has a living-room design to make diners feel more at home. We were impressed from the moment we arrived at the curb. helpful, friendly staff; beautiful renovation; and excellent value. we've spent more in nyc and gotten much less.
