The Zlata Husa Ambassador was built in 1920 and means "golden goose". The folklore behind the name of Husa Ambassador Zlata is that the hotel's owner, a rich widow, had a daughter who remained single despite her wealth, earning her the nickname of "golden goose". In 1964, the Ambassador Zlata Husa made an alliance with the Ambassador group and underwent a major renovation in 2004.
