Hotel de Paris    

This hotel was nice enough since it was right by a metro lin, and close to a grocery store and was pretty cheap (55 euros for 1 night). Check out was easy even though we left at about 5:30am. The rooms are very basic. We had room 319 and it was just a double bed, sink, TV, phone, and a little desk with a mirror. I had a little trouble sleeping since it's right by the road and you can hear traffic, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The main thing that would be bad, especially during a more busy season, is there is only 1 shower and 1 toilet for the entire hallway of about 8-10 rooms. I think we were the only ones there at the time so it wasn't too bad for us. Overall, I would say if you just want a basic place to sleep with no frills, kind of like a private hostel room (except in this one breakfast costs extra) then this hotel is fine.

Basically, it was fine. I slept well, all my belongings were safe, always had hot water, had wifi, the room was an average size - I was by myself so I didn't need anything large. The guys at the front desk were pleasant enough. It was very affordable. The metro was right there and it's an easy service to get around on.It wasn't a very pretty area, though, and I would've liked to be closer to the centre of Paris (but things get more expensive closer to the centre, so there you are!)The only actual problem that I had was that although the sheets were freshly laundered - they always had hair and different coloured threads and fluff on them. The hair wasn't mine! Not nice to have other people's hair on your sheets, touching your skin!I would suggest asking them for new sheets if you have this problem. The rest of my room was clean, though.

Average, that's the word that can sum up the whole stay in this hotel.On the bright side: - the room and bathroom were clean and have been cleaned during our 3 night stay- the nearest underground station is 1 minute away from the hotelThe dark side:- the staff were quite noisy at times late at night (12 pm) and early in the morning (6-7 am)- the quality of the interior was very average, starting with the doors that were a far cry from being soundproof to the wardrobe that was simply put smallTo sum it up: we expected more at 60 pounds per night. Of course when you take into consideration that this was one of the cheapest hotels we've found... we've spent almost twice as much as we hoped for during the 4 day trip. Paris is bloody expensive :)

We stayed there 4 nights, hotel seems to be old but it has been renovated recently. Everything was alright, we didn't take breakfast. It is quite fat from the center, it takes aproximately 20 minutes by metro from the hotel's nearest metro station which is 200 m from it. We were only sleeping there and therefore we are satisfied.

Very bad hotel,Better avoid itwi fi is not working..bed is not in good condition..tv is very small size and room alignment is not good

Me and a friend spend 3 nights at Hôtel de Paris. We chose this hotel because its reviews from Easytobook.com was alright and it was right before we needed it. The price was average good.The hotel is not placed in the center of Paris, but with the metro 5 just outside the door it was easy to get around.It says on the website that there were only free WI-FI in the hallway but we were able to connect everywhere in the room too.We chose a room with a shared toilet and shower and both were clean and always available. Towels were changed every day (but not the sheets).The staff was polite and they are there all night in the reception which is a huge advantage when you want to go out late.Overall a very nice experience, and I will definitely try to book this hotel again when coming to Paris next time. No luxury but good for the price.

Unfortunately there were a few let downs in our bedroom, a broken shower holder and curtain rail (probably from the previous booking). However this was the only let down. In terms of location based in the north east of the city right on top of the metro and short ride from all the essential hot spots of Paris.Great value for money with a comfortable room and a nice LCD tv on the wall to keep you entertained.

Pros: Exellent location: near a couple of metro stations, supermarket, cafes, restaurants, banks & atm's, etc. 24hrs person attending the lobby; clean facade and interiors; spacious room with bath for three guests. elevator!
Cons: Poor wifi reception, actually no wifi inside the room. they made beds daily, but in-room bath have not been clean in the entire wk. matress bed were hard, it felt like sleeping in top of a plywood...

Pros: Excellent location near to a metro station where you can go anywhere,lots of places to eat near hotel clean bath and room in generally.
Cons: We did not enjoyed the room at all.very small,no aircondition(we would not use it anyway due to the period we travelled) no fan for the hot days,very basic room.i would suggest this only for sleep.the staff is not the best you can find in a hotel without being inpolite.

Pros: Basic, functional: perfectly fine. staff were helpful - reception spoke english and were there all night - location was good in the 19e arondissement very close to the porte de pantin metro and close to the parc de la villette.
Cons: Telly didn't work - we didn't bother to complain as we weren't in enough to want to watch it. staff were still cleaning our room when we arrived - this also wasn't a problem to us - they soon completed the job.

Pros: Very close to a metro station, decent wifi connection in the room.
Cons: Room wasn't clean when we arrived. one shower and one toilet for a whole floor. very expensive for what it is.

Pros: Staffs in the evening were particularly helpful. location was excellent in using metro and/or bus. there are many places to eat and there is a convenience store and a cash machine closeby.
Cons: My reservation was for a nonsmoking room with two twin beds but got a double bed with very strong smoke odor. the hotel has "no smoking policy" and my daughter did not mind the double bed, so i did not request a change of the room. but, i still wonder whether there could have been any room in that hotel without smoke smell.

Pros: We spent two nights in this hotel and could not find any fault with the rooms as well as the service. the hotel staff were very helpful in guiding us in the right direction to the tourist attractions.

the hotel location is also excellent , it is just seconds away from one of the exits in the porte de pantin metro station. there are a number of cafes, boulangeries, restaurants just minutes away from the hotel. overall a great experience.
Cons: It would have been good if they had provided more rolls of toilet paper.

Pros: Friendly staff, open 24/24, close to parc de villete (interesting if you want to see some gigs), sober but comfortable & clean rooms.

Pros: The staff wasn't overly nice, but they did get the sink fixed after i told them that i was clogging up.
Cons: The hotel staff didn't let me know that once they call a cab the cab meter starts at 20 euros (not zero) right away - this would have been helpful.

Pros: When questions/problems arose and staff were notified, attention was prompt. position is great, metres from metro, with good eating and supermarket close by.
Cons: Cleaning of room was slapdash, the only day it was cleaned properly (basins, shower and bench) was the day after complaint lodged. the following days, the basin, shower and bench were either not cleaned or poorly cleaned.

Pros: The metro station was literaly over the road so was easily accessible so the location was ideal.
Cons: The staff just wernt very friendly at all. the spoke english but chose not to most of the time. they made us feel very creeped out.
