 "Very nice and helpful staff"
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff.
hotel has all that is needed, really, at least for budget travellers. good value for money. location is not the best but is pretty good - 300 meters from a big supermarket and from bus and tram stations that connect with the metro. private rooms are good, but the ones with shared bathroom are small. free wi-fi and parking.
was very kind of the hotel to provide us with hot water from the machine, even in "off" hours.
Cons: Shared bathroom rooms are abit small.
breakfast is ok but not more (didn't expect more actually)

 "What we have got was such a positive surprice which we have never expected"
Pros: What we have got was such a positive surprice which we have never expected. it was a great place to stay! a newly renovated mansion accomodated spacious (for this type of dwelling) rooms with high ceilings, air conditioning, modern furniture and new flat tvs. the rooms were nicely decorated. our child enjoyed being on their absolutely fantastic and fabulous terrace which had even growing grapes! staff was very warm, friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. there was a buffet breakfast, including several sorts of coffee from the machine, juices, joughurts, croissants, jams, butter, corn flakes, fruits, ready-made packed toasts, and sweet italian pies! it was not at all noisy there. mature couples and travellers were staying there. you should have taken bus 42 or tram 5 from the stazione centrale to reach the hotel. only a few stops. great place it was!
Cons: It is not a criticism but a small remark about the internet web-pages with the hotel info. it would be good to know their policy, concerning children in the hotel, e.g. untill what age and under which terms children can stay in the hotel free of charge (if at all).

Pros: The room was clean and air conditioned, with friendly staff. you have to ask them for the login and password for the internet but this was free and worked well.
Cons: It took me a long time to fine, the name is misleading as all locals will try to send you to the area bicocca. it is not in this area at all and although when you have found it it is easy to find again it is not obvious for a first time visitor. there is a local supermarket 'essalonga' on the main road near the b & b which is good and cheap but it is not very near any of the sights.
