"Great value and great location"

Spacious clean room good ensuite shower. Room service prompt. Lift service. Location 100m from las ramblas. Huge array of restaurants best of which was 'Milk'. Able to store luggage on day of travel home.

"Excellent"

We found this small Hotel so convenient to the Main St,the Ramblas,so many neat shops,Restaurants,plus close to the main square where the Tour Buses start.We found the front staff to be so helpful,very kind with where & what to do or go.It is not a 5 or 4 Star hotel but ,the staff & convenience would make you feel that it was.We would always return there.

"Excellent despite a few hicups"

Despite a few hiccups it gets top mark from me especially for its location and helpful and friendly stuff. 'Hiccups' - no air-conditioning; some days chambermaid forgot to leave either shampoo or the shower gel; my key was for some reason deactivated on the third day even though I was staying five nights.Would I stay there again? YES!

"A great place to stay."

I stayed at Hotel Ingles for 5 nights after booking online. They were quick at replying to any emails and gave me a single room on the top floor as I requested. I had air-con, which I was told was the only room that did-lucky me! I was informed that they will be installing air-con in the coming months in all rooms. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful at all times. It is situated just off La Ramblas,so it was pretty quiet.. I would definitely stay there again.

"Basic, but friendly staff and perfect location"

The hotel is basic, rooms are plain but adequate - but this is more than you would expect for the price. In addition , however, you get a really warm, helpful staff and a location that ccan't really be beaten - right in the heart of el Gotic.

"Amazing location, great hotel"

hotel just off la ramblas, on arrival we were given discount vouchers to many of the local tapas bars. Our room overlooked an old stone wall from the gothic quarter. Loved staying here , will stay again. Thanks for an amazing 3 days

"Decent value for the price."

Nothing wrong for a One Star Hotel. My room was on the back side, large and quiet. If you like the Bars and La Rambla, you can't beat it.

"Excellant location and Service"

We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. The staff at Hotel Ingles were very helpful. They even went out of their way to help my wife after we had completed our stay at the hotel. My wife left her bag in the back seat of the taxi at the airport as we were preparing for departure from Barcelona. With our inability to communicate clearly in Spanish a call was placed to the hotel and they were able to track the company we used for transport to the airport. My wife did receive her bag prior to our departure. The staff had no obligation to us after completing our stay and yet because of their assistance we were able to enjoy the rest of our travels in Europe width all of our belongings. We are very grateful to the staff of Hotel Ingles for taking this extra care and hospitality!

"Couldn't get closer to the city centre!"

Extremely good and cost effective bed for the night right in the middle of the city. Clean, quiet and sooo convenient. Lack of breakfast or evening meals is no problem as you are surrounded by cafes and restaurants within seconds of front door.To be reccommended to the short stay tourist.

"An average hotel in the centre of Barcelona"

The hotel is very centric which is its biggest advantage. The rooms are clean and there is a free Wi-Fi but apart from that almost no additional service is offered. That’s OK for the price I guess. I was annoyed by the fact that they called me in a room at 11.30, half an hour before the check-out time, to 'remind' me that I have to be out by 12. I haven't experienced this elsewhere.

Pros: The staff were extremely polite, helpful and professional.luggage storage was well organised for those vacating room but with late night flight.good links to la rambla, the port and marina.
Cons: Rather overpriced with comparison to other nearby hotels especially as breakfast was not included. vey noisy especially if you need your sleep as in busy street and glazing not that effective.
