thoroughly enjoyed our stay. great service from dining room manager every am. the rooms were clean and very comfortable. roof terrace was brilliant . breakfast was worth the money but save 5 euros by pre booking

the hotel is greatly located. you are within walking distance from all central districts. you may explore Eixample, Raval and Barri Gotic with no pain at all. Next to Univeristad metro station and many bus lines for further explorations. The room is very very clean and comfortable with a lovely bed. The highlight was the walk in bathroom with the overhead shower (plus a bathtub)! Very intriguing! The only downside (hence the 3 stars for "Sleep Quality") is the outside noise. Our room (518) was facing Gran Via (the second largest and busiest avenue in Barcelona) and although the windows were "double glazing" the noise intrududed easily (though, I must admit, the view from the room of the modernista buildings of Gran Via is beautiful) and if the room felt a bit stuffy it was impossible to keep the window open for more than a few seconds Probably other rooms may not face Gran Via so they may not experience such issues. I would certainly recommend the H10 Casanova for a stay.

Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. When we arrived we were given a room with 2 single beds pushed together, I asked to change rooms so we could have a double bed, staff were very helpful and changed our room no problem. Hotel is in a great location, one block from the metro Line 1, two blocks walk from La Rambla. The city is so small you can walk to most places or the metro offers cheap travel, it is worth buying a T-10 card for roughly 9 euros which gives you 10 journeys on the metro or bus. A lovely city with lots to offer but do be aware of pick pockets on the metro and down La Rambla.

Can't fault this hotel! Superb location - we only stayed one night en route for a week's cruise. Very handy for both the airport (bus stops moreorless 5 mins walk), and for teh station.Very friendly staff - smiling, helpful faces.Room superb - we had a triple room and still pleny of space, and the 3rd bed was extremely comfortable according to my son!Loved the decor everywhere.Breakfast fantastic - set us up for the day!Pool and free welcome drink on the terrace with views to die for! What more could you ask for, and all this at fantastic low rates.Highly recommended.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic, the location, just a 10 minute walk to La Rambla one way and 10min walk to Plaza Espanya the other way. There were a few cafe's and restaurants within a 5min walk, staff were very helpful, would definatly reccommend this hotel and stay there again

I would highly recommend the H10 Casanova Hotel to anybody wanting to visit Barcelona. It was in a fantastic location close to the centre of everything that you would want to see, but just out of the way enough to not be too noisy at night.The facilities were brilliant, the staff friendly and the room as clean as you would want it. I think the only downside was the noisy people that you could hear in the coridoor late at night possibly due to thin doors or just them being very loud. Apart from this the hotel was well above my expectations and top value for money.

Great hotel, clean modern quiet. We emailed then the details of our group (25 of us ) and they had all the keys/rooms sorted for us when we arrived so check in was only a minute! My only issue would be that the walls are very thin so you could hear the tv etc from the room next door but that was a minor problem.

Pros: Very friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful. clean room with balcony over front street - perfect. lovely bathroom with granite top and wet room shower arrangement which was brilliant. the hotel is about 10 minutes' walk to placa catalunya and on to la rambla.
Cons: No swimming pool and i love swimming, especially on holiday. couldn't find our way through to central atrium shown in publicity material. assume you have to attend spa to access this area. rather concerned that some fire doors were locked. but none of this would stop me from staying at the hotel again, or recommending it to you.

Pros: Hotel was very close to a metro stop so it was easy to get to any area of barcelona. it was located away from the touristy areas, which was nice. i was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel accomodations were given the price we paid.

Cons: The hotel room was a smoking room, i had no option to have a smoking or non smoking room, this was the only negative part of the hotel, but for the money we were paying i dont expect to have to put up with the stale smell of cigerette smoke

Pros: Hotel staff very helpful with everything we ask them, hotel location was great, cleanliness of our room and hotel was excellent, with clean bed linen and towels every day. we hope to stay with you again in the future.
Cons: Check in time was 14.00 hrs which was the time we arrived and was told our room was not ready.we then went back at 17.00hrs and was still not avaiable, we finally got to our room at 17.30 hrs. that was the only negative side of our stay with you apart from that it was excellent.

Cons: The drinks in the bar are very expensive - two drinks cost 18 euros. we had an unfortunate experience whilst staying there with regard to taxis. the hotel booked a taxi to take us to the airport - the taxi meter reading was 22 euros and we were charged 36 euros - the reason being there was an extra charge on sundays! however on checking with other taxi drivers at the airport they informed us this was not true.visitors should check the charges with the taxi driver before departing!
