 "Small but who needs loads of room"
The rooms are small but more than adequate for short stays. We love the location close to 6 subway lines, a short walk to Lincoln Center, and actually walkable to downtown. Friendly service and continental breakfast are pluses

 "New York Holiday"
Room 206 for the first night was small but manageable, but the bathroom was a disgrace and the noise from the machinery outside / kitchen area was very noisy. We asked and were moved to 903 which was the same size but the bathroom size and layout was much better.The hotel reception staff were first class - very pleasant and helpful

 "holiday stay"
I came with my daughter and granddaughter so we could see some sites and take in Radio City Music Hall. The staff at the desk were so very helpful, room small, but fine and excellent breakfast. Location was perfect. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Thank you, Alice Emerson

 "Very nice but cold"
This was our sixth stay here. Accommodations are relatively Spartan, but by New York standards it is a good value. We love the location, which is quiet and near subway and numerous nice neighborhood restaurants. But the weather was cold on our last trip and the heating system wouldn't turn on. A portable heater eventually helped, but the room was still quite cold.

 "Comfort Inn central park West"
Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, the location was superb, the room was okay if not slightly dated but the bathroom was a shoe cupboard, you could literally do your business whilst washing your teeth in the sink and have a shower all at the same time, if your lucky like me - when getting off the toilet you can bang your head on the shower cubicle and your elbow off the sink all at the same time! Not all the rooms were blessed like this, my son's room had a normal sized bathroom and was a lot more user friendly.That said, the stay was very enjoyable for the time spent in a hotel room in New York.

 "New York trip during Sandy!"
Rooms smaller than anticipated, very small lobby area for size of hotel. Also breakfast room far too small for size of hotel, breakfast adequate but unpleasant to have to use plastic utensils. Some public areas not very clean, also limited cleaning during hurricane although this is no reflection on the staff who were courteous and helpful throughout our stay.Excellent location.As we stayed during the hurricane we spent far more time in the hotel than we would have otherwise.

 "locattion"
They have great location, very close to central park and subway stations, the neighborhood is quiet, full of great restaurants and safe and the staff was very helpful. The building is a bit old, the rooms are small. But overall considering the prices of other hotels in New York and the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff, I would stay again in this hotel.

The loction nearby the central park is ok. Small room, no comfort, noisy. not worth the $250 we had te pay for.

 "Comfort Inn, Central Park West, New York"
Check In was good, friendly and quick service. Location excellent. Room was small but not a problem as when in New York you are out and about. Mattress was too soft and very uncomfortable. Could hear lots of noise from other rooms during night and could not sleep due to disturbance from water running and toilets being used. Room was next to fire door. Asked on two occasions for door to be oiled. Did not happen and staff were not very helpful when they were asked to do it. Breakfast room too small, choice of food ok. Would not stay here again as I think other Hotels in same area would be better value for the price we paid. Not cheap.

 "Perfect location + breakfest included."
Really good location , three diferent subways station close.People working are friendly , good service. Nice rooms.I would recommend to stay below fith floor...just one elevator.Even dough there is breakfest , the room it's not big enough to fill everybody at same time. Avoid breakfe rush hours if it's possible....or have breakfest at room. Beside that , it's worth

 "NYC too expensive for tiny hotel rooms"
This review likely won't be used but here goes anyway. NYC hotels are too expensive and rediculously small. The comfort in was okay as far as basics but avoid upper floors cause they only have one elevator and it broke down for a short while while we were there. The staff were friendly and helpful but it is still not worth $259/ night.

terrible hotel for services, rooms and cleanliness. We had reservation for a triple room but they took us a double room explaning us that "in New York everything in small". So we had to sleep in three in a king size bed.

we had a great time in this hotel ! people were nice and it was excellently located (in front of central park and near to the subway !!). The breakfast was various and good.

 "Stay at the Comfort Inn"
The positioning of the hotel and service was fine. The rooms were dark and not very invioting! A lighter colours on the wall would help considerably. (The walls were brown in my room on the 9th floor)The breakfast was very unhealthy! It would be good to have an option that was nutrious and healthy with less sugar and fat! The room itself was too small for the number of people eating there.

 "Big disappointment"
On arrival after a long flight we found that the reserved room (King) was not available. Reason being that previous tenant had extended his stay. The room allocated was so small that our two cases could barely get into the room. Getting around the bed meant climbing over the cases. On enquiry/complaint, front desk basically said there was nothing they could do. We found another hotel and checked out within 3 hours.A poor performance from a supposedly reputable hotel chain.

Cons: The wireless internet signal was so poor i couldn't use it. i found it to be frustrating. i was told the reuter on my floor was poor, but nothing was done. had i been there for work purposes i would've had to change hotels.
