Hotel Ermitage Paris

Calm down. If you only have hostel amounts of money to spend, this is fine. It is CHEAP for where it is. I felt very safe, and I'm a 30year old woman from the US. The room is comically funny, and bathroom is a disaster if you're not careful...(picture a shower with a thin curtain barely separating it from the three extra feet of the bathroom with an unruly shower head) When I got there, the desk dude wasn't there (I think they take random, kind of long breaks) but it was QUIET and I could sleep; it was dark, the shower got nice and hot. Don't overthink it, people, you're in Paris very close to the center, it just smells a little funny.

The room was compact but didn't feel crammed in. It was in a great location - close by to the metro and not so touristy. It was nice to see "real" Paris. I would recommend this hotel as its great value for money, in a city where you can pay a fortune and end up in the middle of nowhere in a dirty room.

Tiniest rooms I've ever seen! The bathroom was so little that I don't think a bigger built person could've had room in them. It was approx. 60 cm deep, when you were standing in front of the tiny sink and leaned forward to spit into the sink you opened the door with your bum. Also, you can hear everything the person in the next room says, the walls are very thin. If that doesn't disturb you, the value is fair for Paris. All cheap rooms are tiny here and Ermitage has nice and helpful staff and the rooms are really cheap. The distance from central Paris is reasonable.

The hotel had a lot of stairs. Typical for Paris. Ned were made every dayand but not cleaned. Hotel staff was very responsive. Spoke english Amd french.

the room is really small, but the service is really nice, it is enough for the price. But the wifi is really bad, you cannot use it in the room. the sheet is not so good looking, seems very dirty, maybe just too old.

Pros: Hotel ermitage is within walking distance to the pyranees and jourdain metro stations, both on line 11 (brown) which makes it very easy to connect with the attractions all over paris. although we arrived well before check in time a room was available and they were happy for us to check in then and there. the room is serviced daily with fresh towells etc.
Cons: For a non-smoking hotel the room next door was pouring with smoke, it left our room smelling of cigarettes. no hand towells were provided. there is no elevator and being allocated a room on the 3rd floor and having heavy luggage was a struggle. the bathroom was small but bareable... i would still recommend this hotel to anyone who was using the hotel for a place to sleep like we were :)

Cons: It could be fair to have a drink distributor if we need a glass of water for example

Pros: I didn't have any good or positive experience to share on hotel ermitage. i have chosen a wrong hotel to stay, and i will not choose or recommend hotel ermitage to anyone in the feature
Cons: First of all, it is not hotel. it is a poor lodge or guest house. there is no lift, the room is so small, toilet and shower is extremely small. i have seen the smallest toliet for the first time in my life. there is no space even to move around. no facilities. no service. no water, coffee/ tea or breakfast. it is truly not worth staying in ermitage. 65 euros for this kind of room is really too much. on the day of departure, i had requested for the wake-up call, that also they didn't do. i was just cursing myself why i have chosen ermitage, and since i already paid the amount full in the beginning, i was not able to even think of moving to another hotel. i will not stay again in ermitage any time, and i will not even recommend to any one. it's so poor.

Pros: Rooms clean and basic
Cons: Had to ask for new light bulbs as none working in room

Pros: Location was in a nice suburb, close to excellent public transport and gave us the feeling of living in the 'real' paris. room, although small and a little old, was functional and cleaned daily. staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Lack of lifts made carrying luggage to upstairs rooms a challenge, but overall staying here was a positive experience and we would certainly stay here again.

Pros: Nice neigbourhood, easy to find (bus 26)

Pros: Excellent value for money, if you want to get away from the tourists, this is the hotel for you. the neighborhood was lively, plenty of restaurants, shops, etc, and you definitely get better prices than in the centre of paris. a short walk away from a lovely park.

Pros: The man at the front desk was well-mannered and cheerful, our room was very clean, check-in was fast, we really have no complaints. we are a middle-aged couple who travel a fair bit, and stayed in several budget-price hotels. the hotel l'ermitage is first-rate in comparison to other dirty and badly run hotels we have been in.
Cons: These are not exactly "negative experiences", just comments:we thought the bathroom ridiculously small, and the mattress on the bed very old and worn out.

Cons: Yes i have bad expriness in this hotel, and stuff were very unfriendly, and no edcution at all. not helpful. i regret to be in this hotel.

Pros: Easy metro ride into the centre of paris, helpful staff, room cleaned everyday while we were out and a great bar right next door. friendly reception staff.
Cons: Just the stairs - there's quite a few of them! we were 't given the code for the safe-box, be sure to ask.

Pros: Located in an interesting area of paris - off the tourist track
Cons: I was told my room was non smoking - it smelt terrible!

Pros: Freindly and helpful staff, quiet hotel. good location.
Cons: Soft bed, only two tiny towels.

Pros: A clean and basic room that served its purpose.
Cons: Well the website warned us about the stairs! we needed some exercise to work off all the amazing parisian food and wine anyway!
