 "Nice room but..."
The room is all you could want from a city break, somewhere to sleep and get ready before a day exploring amsterdam. the only thing missing from the room was a kettle or room service. Also there is no staff in the hotel after the bar below shuts.

 "Hotel Patou- Amsterdam"
Great location, clean rooms. We arrived after 7pm. Had to call no to access reception.Not sure what to do if you had no phone! Man on reception very friendly.Corridors had a lot of echo so could be noisy when guests returned.

 "Nothing special but ok for two nights"
The hotel itself is ok. The stairs and lift are horrible (very small, steep). The restaurant Maxime are nice and breakfast are pretty good.The service is ok, short time-line to use reception, but you get a phone number.WLAN voucher received, but not tested

Clean and well-situated hotel, in the center of Amsterdam. But hotel is mixed with the restaurant and it's not nice when you have to go between eating clients with your bags to get your keys or ask anything. Noone in the reception, you always have to go to the bar of the restaurant.It's not bad quality, but it is a bit expensive for the services they provide.

 "Great stay"
The service was excellent and the bed was comfortable. Ideal location, across from Chanel. The cafe below is charming and has friendly staff. My only complaint was that wi-fi wasn't working in my room.

 "ok hotel"
Room was fairly clean. No warm or hot water to shower. No remote control for tv. And nobody around when we checked out so just left the key on the desk. Think if you get a bigger room then we got it would be ok. Beds are very good and interior of the room was nice,just looked beaten up. Great location.

 "Not the usual European 3* quality..."
The reception was never occupied, I had towels in my room with gaping holes in them, the windows didn't close properly so I was woken up very early every morning from the roadworks outside, my blind was broken and had not been fixed, the room had no airconditioning and I could hear absolutely everything from the room next to me.The hotel also didn't adjust the booking as I had requested (which they confirmed to me that they had adjusted). They made no attempt to fix their mistake, without so much as an apology.The only good side is that the hotel is close to a tram stop and right next to the Rijk Museum. Good location for shopping and sightseeing.

 "...there are better ones for that money."
The hotel is very central to Amsterdam, you have plenty of tram lines around your hotel (N° 3, 5, ...). You feel like a rich person because of the expensive boutiques in the street of P.C. Hoofstraat. But when you enter one of the rooms you have to realize that not everything that is shining is valuable as well... The bed looks cosy and comfortable, but the mattress is a disaster : you literally sink inside that bed and get up the next morning with a bad back pain. The cover of the sheets were clean, but the blanket itself had some bad stains - ugly. The TV was a good one, but where the hell was the remote control??? We had to get up everytime we wanted to switch the channel - not very relaxing. The bathroom: there was some mould between the tiles in the shower - if the cleaning guys would clean the tiles everytime someone checks out there would be no mould....but worse: the sink. The water couldn't drain off quickly, I guess it was blocked up. And the water faucet was not firmly established. The towels were a bit tattered at the sides, but clean. The bathroom door was stilish, but really impractical: it was a swing door made of glass, so you could hear the other person in the bathroom when you were laying in the bed. The curtains had small holes. Not that pretty. The reception was a joke. The hotel owns a restaurant downstairs and the waitresses checked us in - to sum it up: they had no idea how or what to do, we had to wait pretty long for a simple check-in. The reading device for a credit card didn't work, so I had to pay cash. They didn't know the password to get in their system and to call another hotel whoch should help them etc. To sum it up, it was really exhausting. The waitresses had also no idea where to park our car cheap - correct, no parking service of the hotel, we had to pay a 24h ticket for 36,-€ ... whatever we wanted to ask we didn't get a satisfying answer of the people there. Still, Amsterdam is a beautiful city and I can only recommend you the CONSCIOUS HOTEL(S) - really beautiful hotel where we stayed last time in Amsterdam.

Nice location close but not Right in city centre.. Nice room too Staff friendly enough.. Bit of a funny smell coming fron the sink plughole thats the only negative hahaha >:o

 "Great Location, not bad"
Very helpful staff, location easy for transport links to the city and airport. room was ok, needed a good dust but bed, shower etc was clean and comfortable... good place to crash after a night and day out.
