"Very good Hotel:)"

The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was next to Paddington Station, which was nice and it was in a nice area of London...near Hyde Park. The beds were comfy and the room was simple. The only down side was that I could hear the traffic outside most of the night and was a bit far from St. Pancras Station, where I needed to be one of the days. I would reccommend staying here.

"Not clean"

I think that this hotel is perfect for sleep, but not for stay all the day.The only thing that could be refreshed is the cleanliness.The rooms are tidy only at the arrive of a customer and not for all stay long.The positive things are the position, and the kindly of the staff.

"Average"

Fine if you're just looking for somewhere to put your head for a night but other than that I would look elsewhere. Also, try to avoid staying in one of the basement rooms - might as well stay in the underground station going by the noise!

"Pleasantly surprised"

When I booked my stay at this hotel I booked it purely on price and location so was not expecting a great deal really. However I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was very small of course but all I needed was a bed and a shower so it was absolutely fine for that. everything was clean and comfortable. The thing that impressed most was the staff - they were very helpful sorting out minicabs, advice and a parking spot for us at a modest extra charge. In addition when my wife had to wait for an hour at the hotel for my return they made her a cup of coffee at no charge! I have never experienced that in larger and more expensive hotels!

"ask for an exterior room!"

pros of hotel- reasonable price for london, close to paddington station, polite staff, secure, easy access to restaurants, free wificons of hotel- reasonably clean however my toilet did not flush properly, always paper left behind, had interior room with window facing base of staircase- very noisy in early morning and very bright in room all night, carpet def needed updating and was not properly vaccumed.

"Friendly Staff"

I had read in reviews that the rooms were small, and they were, but it didn't matter because nobody goes to London to sit in their hotel room. What did matter was the comfortable beds, the cleanliness of everything, the great shower, and the exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. It was a relief to have a lift, and wonderful to be able to open the window in our room (something not always possible elsewhere). Close walk to Padington Station and bus routes. After checkout, we were able to leave our bags there, sit in their comfortable lounge area, and I was even offered a cup of tea! Will happily stay there again.

"Good location, decent price, hotel a bit tired looking."

The hotel has a good location but the rooms are not the best. Decor is a bit of a muddle and one of our beds was broken. I suppose the hotel served a purpose and the price was the cheapest around but if your looking for comfort then go somewhere else.

"Disappointment"

We found that our double room contained a double bed pushed against a wall in a small room with a single headboard. There were no chairs to sit on and barely enough room for two people to stand. It was however clean.It was on the third attempt that we manage to get a receipt for our cash in payment for the room.

"Poor hotel!"

I won't definitely no recommend this hotel!I called a month before my arrival to get a twin bed room : when I arrived it was impossible, I had to wait the day after, but I only stayed 2 nights!!!!Second day : when we came back in our new twin bed room....no towels to have a shower!!!!!!!!! When we asked, the man said that they haven't been delivered and we had to wait until the evening!!!!5 different persons during the 2 days in the hotel.Poor continental breakfast!

"Very nice"

The people were very nice with nice, big rooms, great breakfast and overall very cheap. I would definitely stay there again.

"close to everywhere, very good quality price value"

rooms in london are small and this hotel is not an exception especially if you take a single room. the first one they gave me was too small i coudn't even move easily in it and it didn't have a table so i couldn't put my computer anywhere. i complained, the second day a slightly bigger room was available, it had a huge window and i could see all the chery blossom. and the matress was better in this one.another problem: the hotel has only one elevetar and you might wait long minutes when you call it. the room was in the fisrt fllor so it wasn' t a problem for me.the hotel is very clean, the staff freindly and helpful. it is an ideal hotel if you don't spend plenty of time in your room during your stay. you are in hyde park in five minutes, you can go to notting hill in 20 minutes and you be in 15 minutes in oxford street. all this on foot. you have several lines in paddigton tube taking in 30 minutes to the most re;onte parts of london. plus you can go on 2 minutes walk to paddigton station where you can take the heathrow express. the hotel is very practical and well located. yes i would go there again if my budget is tight and in london everyhthing is expensive so budget will always be tight.

"Very good value for money"

Not a show stopper, but clean, well situated, staff was always very helpful and corteous, The room was small of course, but comfortable. And I would`ve liked to have had breakfast included, but overall, it was very good value for money. I would lodge there again.

"Real pleasant surprise"

To be honest, wasn't too sure what to expect for the great value price I paid but what a happy surprise I found. I found reception staff pleasant, helpful and good banter. The room was well equipped for my needs, being by myself I was going to spend quite a bit of time away from the room but for what I needed it was great. Slept with the window open as was very warm so no need to worry about no hot water or heating.Great location, stones throw from Paddington and a short walk to Lancaster gate.Will definitely use again.

"Fab, would stay again"

Excellent location, yes the rooms are small but what do you want they are only to sleep in. I would stay again and recommend.I didn't have the breakfast and therefore, unable to review that. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Overall excellent value for money :-)

"poor quality"

The rems are very small, you have no place to put you suitcase somewhere. First we had a room with no window. The lift didn´t work, the description of the hotel in internet was not correct. The traffic is loud.

"Cramped"

Room was impossibly small, slept well but would rather have paid extra and stayed in a better quality hotel. Hotel was reasonably clean, i arrived late, but this was not a problem. I only stayed here as i needed somewhere to sleep before a flight form Heathrow the next morning. This would be the only reason i would recommend staying at this hotel.
