"Acceptable"

We had an excellent room, 16th floor ocean front. The room was clean and from a good size. The bed was very comfortable, the view from the room were breath taking.Service was very poor, we had to carry our luaggage by our self from the car to reception,after as well to the room. We were charged automatically for pool and beach acces with 15 US$ p.P and day, even when we never planed to use any of it. Parking is expensive with 30US$ per day.Coffee automat at the lobby took my money without giving coffee, after complain to front office, there was no propperhandlin. The automat were blocked by OOO paper for comming 3 days until our departure.Breakfast was acceptable ( value for money), service team was partwise excellent

"Good value, great location and love the '50s feel"

I asked my PA to get me a good value hotel a short cab ride from the airport where I could step out of the hotel for a run on the beach the next morning.The Deauville fitted all that.Plus - importantly - it was different. I spend a lot of time in hotels, and I loved the airy '50s lobby, the free wifi and the friendly, very help staff, plus the barbers in the basement - crucial for a spruce up after a trans-atlantic flight. I'd definitely go back.

"Good Value"

Good value, clean rooms, next to the beach, large swimmingpool. We had a discount, so it was a very good value for the price we've paid. Not for from South Beach and downtown Miami. Has a good restaurant and provides towels for the beach + chairs and umbrella.

"The high ocean view balcony was a huge plus and great to see the sun rising..."

Pros: The high ocean view balcony was a huge plus and great to see the sun rising over the atlantic ocean each morning. easy bus journeys up and down south beach.
Cons: Apart from the beach, pretty well everything about this hotel is negative. surprisingly few staff spoke english, most guests seemed to be spanish, and the valet parking system was total chaos. fine for those who knew the setup and spoke spanish--ghastly for anyone else. the staff (dealt with three on reception) were positively surly and apart from using the bed and room, spent as much time as possible out of the hotel. unfortunately the location had no good restaurants and feels a bit down at heel and old fashioned. tired old hotel in need of further renovation and needs to understand a little about customer service. room was ok, but evidence of decay. corridors all light grey and depressing. offered no assistance with luggage. worst of all was that we were left standing on the steps for over an hour waiting for our car to be returned. we knew it could take an hour, but after eventually get someone to help, the attendant had just taken our keys down and left them on the counter. appalling service and delayed our onward journey into rush hour. would not stay again.

"It is very near to the beach and quiet thow it was in the city"

Pros: It is very near to the beach and quiet thow it was in the city...
Cons: The staff on the frontdesk was unfriedndly and wantes to charge a higher pice for the "resort service fee and the breakfast then in the offeration and in the bookingconformation.
(resort fee 15 instead of 10 $ per day and person which was in our case 105 $ difference in one week) and breakfast 15 $ instead 10§.
both of our rooms had no window to open and the aircondition was very loud.
the service in the so called poolbar was very poor and the waiter didn't care about us for 15 minutes... he seemed to enjoy the weather as if he would have been on a holiday....

"You can tell they are trying to upgrade the hotel but not all the hotels..."

Pros: You can tell they are trying to upgrade the hotel but not all the hotels have been upgraded the not upgraded ones are not in that great of condition. the beds are very comfortable.
Cons: The bathrooms could be bigger and the rooms and bathrooms could be cleaner.

Cons: Not enough space on hotel parking. but, this is not a big problem.

Muito bom

Se gosta de ficar em hotéis de grandes dimensões, o The Deauville Beach Resort é adequado às suas necessidades. Um pouco de conforto a mais não está fora de questão neste hotel de 3 estrelas. É fácil chegar a algumas atracções, como La País Gorce Clube e Allison Island a partir daqui, uma vez que se encontram a uma curta distância a pé. Flamingo Park é um sítio excelente e que pode visitar a partir daqui.
