"needs a serious revamp!"

I can certainly see what they wanted to acheive with this hotel, however it was porly delivered with shabby rooms, reception, lifts,... The people were ok, but then it is NY. Advice to owners - spend!

"Family with 2 teens"

Location of this hotel is their best value.We booked suite with 1 room but no view from living room, air-conditionner noisy, and windows did not protect from outside noise. Room service did not clean behind bathroom door (hair, dust,...).Breakfast was always the same even if cost is 15$ (out of taxe).They need to focus on customer comment in order to comply with their level of price.

"Smoking"

It was not that good looking as in the picture, it was not YET renovatet. I also choice a non smoking hotel becouse of my son has problem with the troth and in one of the neigbour rom it was smoking a lot and it smell all over the place and every time we open the door the smoke came inn to our rom. I tell the staff severel time but the smoking continue.

"Horrible!! DON'T GO THERE!!!"

Me and my girlfriend stayed 3 days at Best Western Presidential Times Square and was Horrible! Bad service everywhere, the employees, specially Tracy, was so annoying with us. They charged more tax than we booked, and one week after we stayed there, they charged another payment in our credit card. We are still trying to fix it...!! I ve travelled around 30 countries and i can tell it was the worst experience i have had. DONT' GOOOO!!!

"Lovely hotel"

I was a lovely stay, but the city was working on the street in front of the hotel and they made a racket from 7 a.m. on. The windows did block most of the sounds. The staff was most helpful in all matters.

"enjoy my stay at the president best western times square"

I recommend that hotel for the situation;, perfect location near broadway, the decor is o.k.cute, the room are very small. But for the special price it was perfect for me.very clean, bed was very confortable. Nice staff at the front desk. enjoy your stay.

"Incredible Location; Amazing for its price"

This hotel is in a fantastic location - steps away from Times Square. At the same time, it's on a small sidestreet that's relatively quiet. The rooms are relatively small, but that's standard for Manhattan. The service was alright - fine but nothing to write home about. Overall, a great stay. Also, internet was very fast. If you want a place to stay that's good quality, incredible value, and it's only for sleeping and relaxing rather than spending your whole day at, this is the best I've seen in NYC.

"Awesome location and clean quiet room"

I stayed for a week in this hotel and was very happy with my stay. The room was quiet and comfortable, and kept clean at all times. The location could not have been any better .. Right in the middle of Times Square .. Could walk to everything and always felt safe being a lone female traveller. I specifically chose the hotel for its location and it was everything I expected.

"Only thing going for this hotel is location"

The night we arrived went up to room could have cried,hairs in the bathroom ,tiles and decor so outdated.Later in the week my husbands shaving bag dissapeared and also my earings we looked under bed and found a plastic bottle and 2 lids which didnt belong to us , this room wasnt hoovered from the previous occupiers couldnt wait to leave. Never found shaving bag or my bag of earings which were only dress jewelery lucky enough.On the ceiling was wallpaper , room small, bathroom small .Total rip off would never returnn

"Great location"

Great location in the center of New York, walking distance to Times Square one minute.Room on 14th floor, very loud, but thats what I`ve expected.Beds great, good quality. Staff friendly, breakfast 15Dollars buffet.Anyway, too expensive.

"Costly, clean but no hot water"

This hotel had a good location for where I needed to be (the TimesCenter), but I didn't have hot water. I asked for it to be fixed, along with the slow drain and low water pressure. the next morning, the same thing. They gave me a $40 discount on my room. $40! It was $350 a night and they only took off $40 in ALL. When it comes to choosing a hotel, I want it to be clean, relatively quiet, and have hot water. Seems reasonable enough for $350 a night.I won't be staying here again and suggest you avoid it as well.

"Good cost-benefit rate, very well localized, a few "buts"..."

A few steps from Times Square, average price for the area, but good cost-benefit relation. Well decorated lobby, good service, but in the room cleaning, beds and towels ok, but service not very good regarding bathroom floor. Internet wireless signal weak in the 9th floor where I stayed. Air conditioning could not be regulated - very cold, even setting the temparature to 80 F, for instance.

"Our stay in New York"

We stayed two weeks at Best Western Plus President Hotel. The location of the hotel is great. However, we were very disappointed about the size of our room and bathroom which were very small. They mentioned that the room was soundproof but we could hear the noise from outside (there is a fire station very close from the hotel).While booking this hotel, it was written the breakfast was included in the price but once we arrived in NY, the hotel informed us that with easytobook.com it wasn't included.The people working at the reception wasn't friendly and helpful at all. We won't return to this hotel and won't recommend it.

"Perfect Location, Good Value, Noisy but that's Times Square."

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in this hotel. We found the staff very pleasant, courteous and helpful apart from one concierge who was brusque and made us feel we were bothering her with our questions. Breakfast was more than adequate with lots of fresh fruit, yogurts and the usual bacon, sausage and egg. The rooms were clean but quite small and very noisy at night particularly, but when you choose to stay near Times Square you can't realistically expect anything else. My only tip is to choose a room as near to ground floor level as possible as the lifts can seem to take forever when you are on the 12th floor as we were, and it would have been nice to have had the option of taking the stairs on occasions. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again myself. Hope all prospective guests find this review helpful.

"Comfortable well placed hotel"

The hotel is well located to both metro stations (including the E line to the airport) and attractions. The room is small but adequate even for a business traveller. Overll the rooms and the hotel are well decorated. The downstairs bar is inexpensive and pleasant.

"Ok stay"

You can tell this hotel was recently remodeled. However, the air conditioner is very out of date. It worked ok but I was not at all pleased. The bed sheets were kind of stiff and not the plush bedding I was expecting at this sort of hotel. The hallways did not have air and for it being 80 degrees outside it was very stuffy. The breakfast was $15 but was not worth the money at all. On the good side the location was key it was right on the same street as the Hershey store and right in the middle of times square. The televisions were big in the room and the lobby looked very nice. They even hold your bags for you if you stay in the city before or after the checkout. I was able to get a discount on the hotel but I would not stay here again unless I was able to get that same discount.

"I find bugs"

Everything was nice until I found a cockroach on the floor and the middle of the night. Also, we left a juice on the desk and when we went back there were a lots of ants !

"There are better hotels for less around Times Square NYC"

Be aware, you pay almost double for a room (when compared to the less fancy hotels in the neighborhood) because of the interior design. Personally, I don’t think it is worth it. The turnover of the guests is so fast, that they can not keep up with it, in terms of staff friendliness and cleanliness of the rooms. The walls are paper thin, if someone is speaking in the next room or on the hallway, you can clearly hear basically every word. There is only one PC in the lobby from which you can print something…if you want to use it, you can not even sit down, you have to stand next to the staff, where people are checking in. Otherwise the hotel is OK, but there are much cheaper and better managed hotels around Times Square.

"Fab location, clean hotel"

This is a good value hotel for the location. It is about 100m from the top end of Time Square where you find Hersheys and M&M stores. You absolutely cannotfault the location of the hotel. The only one down side this has to the hotel is noise, car horns and sirens go on at all hours through the main streets of New York. I wouldn't say it's something to put you off the hotel though as you'll probably find this with most. I would however request a room on a high floor. The hotel and rooms are of a good size for New York and were cleaned well. The rooms are not quite as bright as they look in the pictures but nice all the same.The hotel offers free wifi which I'll be honest was my only real let down of this property. It was a big selling point for us but it was really not very good at all. The service was intermittent and we were lucky to get it working once a day. Or one of us could get it and the other couldn't. (you definitely cannot rely on it). We started taking our iPhones out to dinner as places like Planet Hollywood and Hars Rock had a good free wifi service.That really was the only ting that bugles with this hotel, it's a clean hotel in the heart of the area and for it's location was a very reasonable price.
