Pontrieux is a small town near Paimpol, Tréguier and Guingamp on the Cotes d’Armor in Brittany. It is filled with a wealth of historical interests and an impressive architectural heritage. Pontrieux has two triangular shaped town squares which are lined with tall 18th century half-timbered homes made of dressed stone. Or one can explore the countryside by one of the many mountain bike or hiking trails that crisscross the area. An especially nice walk is along the towpath along the Trieux to the Frynadour Bridge.
