Hôtel Cluny Sorbonne Paris

better than a hostel, but very very small... couldnt really move around at all in the room, i understand everything is smaller in some of the countries i had visited on this trip but this was by far our smallest room out of london, paris, berlin, amsterdam, rome...i am glad we had a elevator though and our tiny tiny bathroom was at least private... although they did try and charge me 100 euro's over my reservation price, that part really irritated me! so watch out and pay attention to what you booked it for verses what they try to charge your credit card

The location of the hotel was fantastic!! 5 min walk from the nearest tube and close to all of the major attractions! The hotel was clean but very basic, however the free wi-fi came in handy.Hotel staff were not very informative or helpful and gave us the wrong change when we paid, there level of serivce definately lets down the whole experience. On the last day we left our bags with reception as we had an late flight and was told they would be locked away safe. When we returned some hours later they had been left in open view of every one among other guests bags, everyone was helping them selves to the bags and there was no system to ensure that the belongings were going to the correct owner.

Staff was excellent! Nice and quiet. Small rooms, but was all we needed to rest and shower.Located in the latin quarter across from the university. A ten minute walk to Notre-Dame.

Pros: Clean and frendly
Cons: We had room on 6th floor and the lift's too small. two people with bags fulfill it. my feeling was this floor was under renovation. half painted doors on the corridor and slats in the room.

Pros: Helpful staff, excellent location
Cons: Shower was tiny and only had a curtain so our bathroom flooded when we showered

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, clean, if a little worn, rooms, brilliant value for money

Pros: The room was small and the decor dated, but we knew that prior to arrival (it was actually charming in its own way)- so the point is: don't expect luxury!. otherwise it was very clean, comfortable and quiet - perfect for what we needed as we had no intention on spending too much time in it (it is paris after all). the staff were extremely nice and helpful. overall, can't fault the place and i would recommend it (if you're there to enjoy paris and not spend the weekend in your room)
Cons: No negative experience - it was perfect!

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff who let us change rooms due to noise
Cons: Room 15 on road noisy, bathroom extremely small and shower poor.

Pros: Wonderful location. brilliant staff.
Cons: Breakfast not amazing but convenient and cheaper than most.
